[00:00:00] SharkCast! SharkCast!
[00:00:17] Turn your porch lights off because we're coming out.
[00:00:31] Good morning everyone. Hey there, welcome to SharkCast Potter Podcast dedicated to the greatest
[00:00:36] sporting club in the history of the world, the mighty Cronulla Subble and Sharks. This
[00:00:41] is a podcast called SharkCast with myself, OG, Sam Shnazzi doing this since 2015 and my friend
[00:00:50] Kieran Fraser and we have an episode we do most weeks during the season at the very least
[00:00:55] and it's called Catching Up With Kieran Over Coffee About Cronulla. Kieran, I have a coffee
[00:01:01] and I don't know if you have one because I didn't get you one this morning but it's okay
[00:01:05] if you don't because one of us is representing a certain establishment we won't mention until
[00:01:09] they start giving us some money. Although remind me to tell you something about them later on
[00:01:12] to do with the sharks. This show is brought to you, have I already said it? It's on the
[00:01:16] screen. It's brought to you by these great legends. Dyson Logistics, Royal Motor Yacht Club
[00:01:20] in Port Hacking, Jason Hawes, Cripps & Cripps Real Estate and the exciting news is we might
[00:01:25] have some more folks coming on board which is awesome. Can never have enough to keep
[00:01:30] the show going. Kieran, how are you man? What's going on? I was gonna say Happy New Year but
[00:01:35] it's too late. Well, the 7th is the cutoff, right? Although I will say I got on last Thursday
[00:01:41] we got Merry Christmas. What? So that was outrageous I thought. So like last Thursday would
[00:01:47] have been like the 4th or so of January. So to get Merry Christmas in January was pretty
[00:01:54] surreal to me. But other than that I've been pretty good mate. What about you?
[00:01:58] Still doing the work stuff. Haven't broken for the year yet but that'll be happening.
[00:02:05] Coinciding with a little trip to see my favourite team play. And I'm not talking about the Minnesota
[00:02:10] Vikings at all in this episode. We're talking about the mighty Cronulla Sutherland Sharks.
[00:02:15] Yeah, but going pretty good. Pretty busy. Things keep rolling on. And I can't wait for the footy
[00:02:21] to start my man. We're getting pretty close. Now you posted something to me and I posted
[00:02:26] on our account that we're a month away or maybe less than now to trials. Yeah, so yesterday
[00:02:32] marks one month until we're able to go to Shark Park and watch the Sharks play. So it's that
[00:02:37] first trial against the Warriors. And I was driving home from the gym this morning and I saw the
[00:02:42] entire playing squad walking back to Shark Park and it just got me fired up.
[00:02:47] Let's talk about it. They were just down at Mr. Paisley's not dining in but doing their
[00:02:52] walk down after a big street run. So I think it's that day of the year where they put them
[00:02:57] out in the community. They do the hard yards and yeah, people are noticing. It's working.
[00:03:02] They will. So I saw them at the lights just past Shark Park where the Caltex is and you can go into
[00:03:09] the Woolworth Bay shopping center. So right where Woolworth High is. I was stuck in a little bit of
[00:03:14] traffic. So again, the Sharks fan in me just started taking a little bit of interest on what
[00:03:18] players were hanging out with who and who was walking, where they were walking, that type of
[00:03:22] thing. Right? So Fitzy was up the front. He was leading the way. He was the very first person in the
[00:03:28] lot and it was probably about 40 players.
[00:03:30] What a leader. What a great man. Yeah. So again, like just little pockets of players who,
[00:03:34] you know, seem like Haradi hanging out with Nakora. Like again, it's just weird to me to see that
[00:03:39] those guys are good friends. But again, like a center winger and a back rower, they've been
[00:03:43] together in the same squad for years. It's not that weird, but you just, when you look at the team
[00:03:47] and the squad, you think about that. I don't want to cause ruffles here, Kieran, but I think
[00:03:52] Marwini's allowed to hang out with the other players. Yeah, absolutely. They're all good friends,
[00:03:56] mate. I think that was the kind of thing, right? So I was just sort of looking at that and at the
[00:04:00] back, Steve Price was, was kind of, it was like, you know, when they do like the woofs and they
[00:04:04] walk through like the snow and they put like the strong ones at the back and like, it was like
[00:04:08] Price was kind of at the back, just watching who was walking where. And, you know, I think,
[00:04:13] I think walking with him was Hamlin Ueli and a few of the other like sort of props that were just
[00:04:18] kind of doing it. But they will, they would have been walking that whole length of Cronulla golf course
[00:04:22] on that main road there. So I don't know where they came from. Maybe they came from
[00:04:26] Cronulla high where they do a bit of training. I'm not sure. Yeah. We've done a big circle
[00:04:31] around Pezos back, back towards where you are. So they were still walking up past Pezos.
[00:04:36] Was anyone, was anyone straying? Anyone struggling? Anyone kind of looking to do something else?
[00:04:40] There was one staff member who was like 50 meters behind Steve Price. I don't know who it was,
[00:04:45] but yeah, he was, he was at the back. Sounds like Gary Dover to me. I didn't see you guys. I was having a look
[00:04:50] for him. I'm sure he'll put up some content from it. But no, it was just exciting to see like,
[00:04:55] and again, my friend David, who's coming to Vegas, but we both left the gym at the same time.
[00:04:59] And so we were both at the lights and he, I could see he ran down his window of his car and he's
[00:05:03] like watching them all too. So just to see like 40 Sharks players in their gear, it was just pretty
[00:05:09] cool. And like just the size of him, just watching him walk past, you know, my car. I've got a pretty
[00:05:14] decent sized car. I think if my car hit him, he would beat the car. Did you see Fionil Blake?
[00:05:19] I didn't. I didn't even think about Fionil Blake until probably about half the squad had gone past
[00:05:24] me. Cause I wasn't sure if it was the younger players and things like that, because I've
[00:05:27] noticed that the gym lights have been on around 5am the last few last, well, definitely since the
[00:05:33] new year has started, the lights have been on at the gym and usually the younger players are the
[00:05:36] ones that you sort of see at that time of day. But to see the whole squad at about 7am,
[00:05:41] it would have been about that time. Yeah, it was pretty cool.
[00:05:43] Tune into SharkCastPod and you get the latest, the absolute latest of the Cronulla sharks,
[00:05:47] including when the lights go on in the facility.
[00:05:50] Well, I remember there was one where Nakora was walking around in a moon boot and that was just
[00:05:54] because we saw him at the front of Shark Park. So yeah, being a local, there are some sort of things
[00:05:58] and you know, I didn't grow up in Cronulla in the Shire. So for me, whenever I see like a big pod of
[00:06:02] them together, it's always pretty cool.
[00:06:04] I'll never forget. I don't know when it was, but never forget the actual instance when they were doing
[00:06:08] something similar. I think it would have been under Flanno. But I was at the
[00:06:13] train station getting the train to work at like an ungodly hour and the entire squad,
[00:06:18] like the 40 of them or whatever, 30 plus whoever, came jogging down the stairs. So not peak hour
[00:06:24] morning, but you know, busy morning. They came jogging down the stairs. Chad was leading them,
[00:06:29] the great Chad Townsend, and they timed it to perfection. The train came, they ran onto the
[00:06:33] train and they're going to do some sort of thing in Gimera or Miranda or something.
[00:06:38] But the entire squad, and that got me pumped for the day. It's both good PR by the Sharks. I'm not
[00:06:43] suggesting that's why they're doing it, but also just obviously good for them to get some road
[00:06:47] underneath their feet just for a little while.
[00:06:50] Yeah. And it wasn't a great day for it. It's like pretty miserable outside. It's cold.
[00:06:54] It was raining all morning. So I don't know when they would have started that walk, but
[00:06:58] from about 5am to 6, it was raining. After 6, it wasn't raining. So yeah, I'm not too sure when they
[00:07:03] started it. To be fair, it is colder than what it should be, but it's not exactly freezing. Just so
[00:07:09] our overseas listeners can get a, you know, it is, it is raining though. As we speak, I can hear rain
[00:07:15] on the roof. It's a beautiful thing. We're getting closer, Kieran. We're getting closer. We're playing
[00:07:20] the Warriors, Warriors on the 7th. At Shark Park. It's a Friday night. Warriors on the 7th.
[00:07:25] Yeah. I actually, yeah, I fly out the next day, so I'm going to have to behave myself.
[00:07:30] Oh, right. Warriors on the 7th at home. Interestingly, I don't know if we've discussed this, Kieran.
[00:07:36] The next day, the Premiers are playing at Shark Park. Penrith, Canberra, Shark Park, Saturday
[00:07:44] the 8th, because they don't have a home ground. So they come into Cronulla.
[00:07:48] That's interesting, because I've heard that the West Tigers are doing a trial that's a double
[00:07:52] header as well. So I think I heard there was talks that it was going to be a double header
[00:07:56] maybe last year, but they've obviously split up into two days. So that works out perfect
[00:08:00] for us, mate, because a Friday night is, I love going down to Shark Park on a Friday night.
[00:08:05] You're going to miss, is this what you're telling me? You're going to miss the second week of
[00:08:08] the preseason?
[00:08:10] Yeah. So I go to Nashville on the 8th.
[00:08:13] Yee-haw!
[00:08:13] And then I get back, I think, on the 15th.
[00:08:15] I get back on the 15th, and then I'm off again to Vegas on the 27th. So I've got a fair
[00:08:22] few flights coming up in February. Okay. Well, Sharks, for the people who will be around,
[00:08:27] Thursday night football, the 13th of February in Canberra, 7.50 kickoff. And I am assuming
[00:08:36] that'll be all the big boys playing at least half a game of football there, which is exciting.
[00:08:41] What are you expecting from the trials, my friend?
[00:08:43] It's going to be interesting because we are doing the trials. It feels like a little bit
[00:08:47] earlier. I'm not sure if that's actually the case, but obviously because we do start a week
[00:08:51] before a lot of the other teams in the NRL, we do have to bring forward things a little bit.
[00:08:57] So having the Sharks game on the 7th of February, I think is just absolutely unreal. But yeah,
[00:09:02] look, I think it'll be a lot of kids getting a chance, a lot of players working on combinations.
[00:09:06] We've got a pretty solid squad that we've kept together for a really long time. So I wouldn't
[00:09:10] look to see a lot of minutes for certain players, like, you know, even guys like Nico,
[00:09:15] I wouldn't expect him to play, you know, two full games. You know, you might play
[00:09:18] three quarters of one and half of another, if that. But I think it's a good chance for players
[00:09:23] like Ison, who we've just re-signed, players like Tooks, who we've just re-signed,
[00:09:28] to put their hands up and sort of, you know, battle for those spots because there's guys like
[00:09:32] Hazleton and Kennedy who don't have a contract right now that the club is, you know, sort of
[00:09:38] putting into these positions to sort of say, all right, we'll show us what you've got.
[00:09:41] So best foot forwards, everyone wants to go to Vegas. Everyone wants to be a part of that team
[00:09:45] and that big stage. So, you know, I think a lot of the young guys are going to really rip in.
[00:09:49] Tell us about, we'll jump into Vegas. Tell us about some of your experiences from last year
[00:09:55] as a neutral while I get the Instagram happening again.
[00:09:59] So while you get the Instagram happening again, I'll tell an embarrassing story that some people
[00:10:03] might appreciate. So I've got two young children and with that comes a huge colony of problems that
[00:10:09] kids can give you sickness. And my house got hit with a sickness, a vomit bug, right before I left.
[00:10:17] And then I flew out and I thought I was unscathed. I was having dinner with my friend. We'd only been
[00:10:22] in Vegas for about three hours. I don't think I'd even have a beer yet. I think it wasn't my first
[00:10:27] beer and I got hit with a real sickness. And I'm walking around in my Sharks jersey. And the amount
[00:10:31] of neutral jerseys that you'll see in Vegas is pretty cool. But the amount of English people
[00:10:36] really surprised me. And I think that'll be even doubled this year with the Super League teams
[00:10:40] playing. But I was about halfway down the strip and I just thought, you know what? I can't do this
[00:10:46] anymore. I'm going to have to head back to my room. And I got about halfway to my room and I started
[00:10:50] being violently ill in one of the rubbish bins in the middle of the strip in my Sharks jersey.
[00:10:55] And I just thought with the amount of media and people that are here, imagine if somebody just
[00:11:00] captures this random Sharks fan vomiting in a bin on the middle of the strip. And I thought,
[00:11:05] look, this could be a situation where I go viral. So, you know, I've got to really get back as
[00:11:09] quickly as possible. But outside of that, it was amazing. Some of the fast food chains over there
[00:11:14] are just 10 out of 10. They're ridiculous. They're not something you should ever consume on a regular
[00:11:18] basis. But we're going to be there for a few days. I'm definitely going to be hitting up some of them.
[00:11:24] But in terms of the day itself, the stadium is probably an Uber ride away. You can walk there.
[00:11:31] But on the day that I was there, it was extremely windy. February can be quite cold and windy in
[00:11:35] Vegas. So just be prepared for that. And then after the game, there's not really a sort of way
[00:11:41] to get out of the stadium in terms of like Ubers and sort of a conventional way. Everyone just walks
[00:11:47] back to the strip. So it's about a 10 to 15 minute walk. It can be pretty cold. You will walk past a
[00:11:53] couple of casinos. I think we just stopped into New York, New York, because it's one of the first
[00:11:57] casinos that we kind of hit on the strip on the way back. But it's not like any rugby league game
[00:12:03] you've ever been to before because the food at the stadiums, the drinks, the RSA is not really
[00:12:09] existent. So really pace yourself and be careful because the Sharks are playing last. I think it's
[00:12:14] like eight hours after the first game kicks off. So I had some friends there. They got into the
[00:12:18] margaritas early and they did not make the second game because again, it's free pool, right? So
[00:12:22] if you're tipping those bartenders, they're going to really look after you, but you're
[00:12:27] going to want to remember the game because I think the Sharks are in for a real chance.
[00:12:30] So I think it's so much fun. The vibe in Vegas is like nothing else. It's really like the Sharks
[00:12:37] and the NRL have taken over the strip. You'll see so many jerseys. The vibe is there. You'll
[00:12:42] hear Australian accents everywhere. I go to Vegas a fair bit for work and it's not a place
[00:12:47] I enjoy, but that was a really fun few days. So I'm signing up again to do it.
[00:12:50] Just to give everyone a bit of an update. What I did, Kieran, was I started the live
[00:12:55] stream on my music Instagram account and I noticed that and I was like, yeah, I don't
[00:13:00] really want that there. And so I'm trying to get into the Sharks Instagram account, SharkCastPod.
[00:13:05] But of course on this computer, I don't even know what the situation is, but we're just
[00:13:10] going to keep going. If we get that going back, we will. When are you looking to arrive
[00:13:15] in Las Vegas, my friend? Not, you don't have to give specifics, but like, are you going
[00:13:20] to be there a few days before or?
[00:13:21] Yeah. So, based on last year, I got there the day before and they were doing, you know,
[00:13:27] like the season launch and all that type of stuff, I think from the Wednesday onward.
[00:13:31] So I missed that last year and I saw some of the videos when they went down to old Vegas
[00:13:36] and it just looked incredible. So I've made sure that I'm going to get there, I think on
[00:13:39] the Wednesday now, just so I can be a part of that and go to old Vegas and see the launch
[00:13:43] and, you know, check out NRL 360. All that fun type of stuff and trying to ease myself
[00:13:49] in the day. I did have some friends last year who flew in and they were Manly fans and they
[00:13:54] landed the day of the game, went to a bar after, you know, flying for 20 hours or whatever the
[00:14:00] commute is, got on the beers at lunch and he was one of the people that did not make the
[00:14:06] second game. So again, if you are flying in, be really careful because it's, the free pool
[00:14:11] is so dangerous, drink your water and try and have a good time because otherwise you
[00:14:15] won't have a good time and you'll go, why did I go all that way? I don't remember it.
[00:14:19] And what are your expectations of the game? Can I go and just have a great time and win,
[00:14:24] lose or draw? Biar beware, right?
[00:14:26] I'm fully expecting the Sharks to put in a very good performance here. I think we've had
[00:14:30] a couple of years of being, you know, on that edge of the next level. I think for Noah Blake
[00:14:37] is this is his chance to have a really dominant statement for us and kind of get things rolling
[00:14:43] for us. So I think that would be actually unbelievable. And Penrith, you know, have a
[00:14:48] bit of moving parts. You know, they're missing Fisher-Harris. There's some doubt around Cleary,
[00:14:52] no Luai. I think it's a real chance for us to set a really strong statement and, you know,
[00:14:58] put a dominant performance in because, you know, they do get a week off, but then as soon
[00:15:02] as they get back, they're going to be going straight up to Townsville. And, you know,
[00:15:05] that first six weeks of the comp or so out to the Perth game versus, I think, South Sydney,
[00:15:10] you know, that's a lot of travel. So I'm expecting them to try and start fast and try
[00:15:14] and front load all that energy because, again, they're going to get that week off, but it's
[00:15:18] going to be a big effort. But no, I'm fully expecting and I'll be very disappointed if
[00:15:22] they don't show up. Again, Penrith ended our season last year and back to 2016 vibes, you
[00:15:29] know, who ended our season in 2015? It was the Cowboys. And what did we do in 2016?
[00:15:33] We made a really good statement against the Cowboys. Now that was down track, but Hey,
[00:15:38] you got to find something to motivate you. And I think that's it.
[00:15:41] All right. You brought it up 2016. There are similar vibes. We have people or person coming
[00:15:50] in of great value and experience and expectation. Same thing happened with a personal mate of yours
[00:15:57] in 2016. It worked. 2015 went close-ish. 2024 went a lot closer. I'm with you. I think that
[00:16:06] the window, as we've said on the show is very much open and it starts in Vegas. And I know
[00:16:12] for a fact, they're not, they're not goofing around here. Like, yeah, there's some things
[00:16:17] planned to have some team outings or whatever, but like they're going to play, they're going to win
[00:16:23] and hopefully they do. But it's a great start to the year if you can knock off the premiers of the
[00:16:28] last 45 years and come home with a win. The one thing I will say though, is we can't get too high
[00:16:34] and we can't get too low no matter what, because you look back at the round one last year with the
[00:16:40] Roosters and the Broncos and Manly and, you know, all those teams that were playing, you know, people
[00:16:45] came out of that thinking, you know, some of those teams looked unreal. Some of those teams didn't
[00:16:48] look very good. And then I think if you looked at the balance of those four teams and the seasons
[00:16:53] that they all ended up having, you know, there's just disruption. The Roosters did not blame
[00:16:58] Vegas as a disruption, but people like the Broncos said, oh, that's where all our problems
[00:17:02] started. It was Vegas, right? I think South Sydney was similar too, right? So again, it can be used as
[00:17:08] an excuse, but if you listen to any interviews from the players, every single one of them has been
[00:17:13] very focused about why they're going to Vegas and how this is a business trip.
[00:17:16] Yeah. And again, I think they're out of there on the Sunday. So there's not really a whole lot
[00:17:22] of time for them to have a lot of fun and goof around, but it's an experience for them that
[00:17:28] it's going to be amazing. So I can't wait. Yeah. It's getting closer. Of course,
[00:17:33] David says, I'd love to hear a school of sharks yelling up, up and it being recorded and going
[00:17:39] viral. So a bit of a marketing ideas there from David is a long-term listener and supporter
[00:17:45] of the show. Thanks, David. Hope you're well, my man. Matt has this to say, also a long time
[00:17:50] contributor. See how it goes. They put in and play for each other. So I think referring to the game
[00:17:56] against Penrith and the campaign ahead. Hope you're well, Matty. Kieran, an event happening,
[00:18:01] there's so much happening. It's trials. There's something. Then there's Vegas and the competition,
[00:18:07] but the something is the Hall of Fame, a very important evening happening in later February down at
[00:18:14] Shark Park. Open to the public. You need to buy a ticket for that if you want to go. Excitedly,
[00:18:20] Kieran, haven't told you this, but in talks with the club to be involved as a podcast. Break that down
[00:18:26] for people when it gets closer. Have your black tie suit, tuxedo thingy ready just in case you get a
[00:18:32] call. Do we have to wear like a bow tie? Whatever you do, you just can't embarrass the podcast.
[00:18:37] You can, yeah, maybe, maybe. More importantly though, of course, is that it's happening.
[00:18:44] You and I live for this kind of stuff. I believe you have the criteria around, Kieran. Could you
[00:18:49] take the punters through the criteria? Go as slow or as fast as you like? It says there's going to be
[00:18:54] six people inducted into the Hall of Fame. So we already have as Immortals, E.T., Gavin Miller,
[00:19:01] Tommy Bishop, Greg Pearce, and Steve Rogers. Now the criteria to be considered for the Hall of Fame
[00:19:07] is there's five categories and the player must have met at least four of these categories
[00:19:13] to be eligible. So number one, demonstrated exceptional performance on and off the field,
[00:19:20] been an international or test representative, including Rugby League World Cup matches,
[00:19:25] played state of origin as number three. Number four, played a hundred games for the Cronulla Sharks
[00:19:30] or won a premiership with the club. And that's been the most controversial one that I've seen.
[00:19:34] Uh, people sort of debating players that didn't make it, um, to a hundred games. And then the last
[00:19:40] one is received a Dallium medal, uh, NRL recognized award. Example is a, uh, Dallium position award,
[00:19:47] a Provence medal, a Rothman's medal, a Ken Stevenson's medal, or a gallon, sorry, a Portagallon
[00:19:54] medal slash Sharks player of the year award. So that's the five criterias that are available.
[00:19:58] And they need four of the five you said?
[00:20:00] You need to hit four of the five, right? So again, I use the guy like James Maloney, um,
[00:20:07] because he's in our team of the 50 years, uh, our 50 years of Sharks that we launched in 2017.
[00:20:13] So he did not play a hundred games for the Sharks. So he doesn't meet that criteria.
[00:20:18] But if you look at the other ones, he demonstrated exceptional performance on the field.
[00:20:22] He did play test football while he was a Shark. He played state of origin while he was a Shark.
[00:20:26] And I believe he won a positional medal in the Dalliums, but I'm not a hundred percent sure on that.
[00:20:33] But I think that's a good kind of gauge of a player who didn't play a hundred games,
[00:20:37] but is still eligible based on the other sort of pieces of criteria that are in there.
[00:20:43] But again, there are some people that are sort of saying, um, there are some guys who played a long time ago for the Sharks that,
[00:20:50] you know, there wasn't as many awards given back then. There wasn't as many origins or,
[00:20:53] you know, test matches and they were exceptional and extremely important to our club that are unfortunately uneligible.
[00:21:01] And to that, I will say the committee that is doing this and people like Ash,
[00:21:05] I trust them more than I trust a lot of people.
[00:21:08] And I think they'll do the right thing and the right people definitely being there.
[00:21:11] Now, are you able to give us your thoughts on who you think either will or should or won't be like,
[00:21:20] give us some thoughts. What's going on?
[00:21:22] My Sharks fandom started in the nineties, right?
[00:21:25] So it's hard for me to judge the players that kind of built the club in the seventies and eighties, right?
[00:21:29] So for me, you know, if it was a personal Sharks Hall of Fame,
[00:21:34] like Tawira Nikow would a hundred percent be in there because he was so important to me becoming a Sharks fan.
[00:21:39] Right. But he really doesn't belong in the context of a club that's been around in 55 years.
[00:21:45] He probably doesn't meet those high levels of bars that we want to set because we don't want this to be for everybody.
[00:21:51] Right. So, you know, players like Brett Kamali, for example,
[00:21:55] you know, he hits four out of those five criteria.
[00:21:57] Sure does.
[00:21:58] Does he make it as a player that was much maligned as a Sharks fans and the whole Preston Campbell thing, right?
[00:22:05] So again, I don't have in front of me how many games Preston played,
[00:22:09] but I think he might've played 91 for the Sharks or something like that.
[00:22:12] I don't think he quite hit that hundred games, but didn't play test football,
[00:22:17] didn't play rep football, won a Dalliam, he played exceptional.
[00:22:20] So there's so many moving parts there, but I think for me,
[00:22:23] it's easy to go in the short term of recency bias,
[00:22:25] but I think the club should really go back and look at those players that were really instrumental
[00:22:30] through the seventies and eighties to make sure that we get them first into there.
[00:22:34] But the one non-negotiable for me has to be Paul Gallant.
[00:22:38] I think he, he has to be in that six because of the importance to him, to this club.
[00:22:43] I think he's a non-negotiable of that six,
[00:22:45] but I would like to see a lot of the older players be recognized.
[00:22:48] And then we can get to the Luke Lewis's and Andrew Fafita's 100%, get them in there as well.
[00:22:54] Just on a few points there, Ricky O on his Christmas episode did say, not a spoiler, it was a hint.
[00:23:01] He, he suggested in his words without saying these words that the club would look probably more backwards
[00:23:09] than the people you're talking about initially, whether they go that way or not.
[00:23:14] He wasn't saying that's happening, but he said, don't be surprised if there's some older guys there,
[00:23:19] which is what you're saying they should do as well.
[00:23:22] And I'm cool with that completely on the gallon thing.
[00:23:26] I'm, I think they should just call it now.
[00:23:28] I think just you're an immortal.
[00:23:30] Here we go.
[00:23:31] I agree.
[00:23:32] I think Paul should just go straight up because he is the goat.
[00:23:36] I think we need a statue, honestly.
[00:23:38] Yeah.
[00:23:38] There's, there's obviously a couple of guys there.
[00:23:40] You've already mentioned a few of them, including Steve Rogers, our friend Andrew Eddinghausen.
[00:23:45] Matt Rogers.
[00:23:46] But just as far as the greatest of all time, there's, there's, there's three you could think of over the generation,
[00:23:51] over the generations.
[00:23:52] And, and you, and no one could say that's wrong depending on your age, whatever.
[00:23:58] But Paul Gallen, I think for me, I would just bring him in.
[00:24:02] I wouldn't wait for another five years or whatever.
[00:24:04] I would just go, you're the guy.
[00:24:06] Come on in.
[00:24:07] Yeah.
[00:24:07] And I think the other person that I think if we're building out a hall of fame that deserves so much credit for what the sharks has become is Wade Graham.
[00:24:17] Because when you look back at what the sharks did, when we were at our lowest and Gallen was instrumental in getting Wade Graham and Wade Graham was talking to the Cowboys.
[00:24:28] And, you know, he was getting the chance to partner up in the halves with Jonathan Thurston and all that type of stuff that was happening when we won that signature.
[00:24:35] For me, that was a definitive line in the sand for the cultural shift of where we would go.
[00:24:41] And I know we had a huge blip in the road that happened with the Colesada stuff and all that type of thing that happened.
[00:24:48] But when you look at who joined the club after we got Wade and where we were when we got Wade.
[00:24:55] Like this is a time when we lost like, you know, Cade Snowden, Luke Douglas, you know.
[00:24:59] Times were really dark because those guys were our great hopes, right?
[00:25:02] But then we brought in Wade and then we were able to bring in a Fafita who was a childhood friend of Wade, right?
[00:25:08] And Wade was vouching for the club saying that you've got to come here.
[00:25:11] It's great.
[00:25:11] We were able to bring in his good friend Luke Lewis.
[00:25:14] Like these were all instrumental parts for us to get that success.
[00:25:18] So, you know, while you can say that Paul Gallen is one of the arguably the greatest signings the sharks has ever made,
[00:25:23] I think because he was in our system for so long.
[00:25:26] Sure, he was.
[00:25:26] But I think in terms of impactful signings, Luke Lewis was 10 out of 10 for us in the end.
[00:25:32] There were some rocky times there because, you know, he went through hell with his body and, you know, all sorts of unfortunate things.
[00:25:38] But Wade Graham was so important to turning this club around that I think he deserves that nod and that respect because, you know,
[00:25:45] he came to us as a young fella and then he left as, you know, a club legend.
[00:25:48] And, you know, he was instrumental in bringing some of those players to the club that, you know, got us that 2016.
[00:25:53] I mean, there's only so many they're handing out this time around.
[00:25:56] So it'd be interesting how they do that because obviously, you know, Wade Graham, if we're building statues,
[00:26:01] he's probably going to have one somewhere in the stadium.
[00:26:04] But to be honest, I mean, I haven't done my list or anything yet and I will do that leading up to the event.
[00:26:10] But for some reason, Wade just didn't really.
[00:26:13] But of course, like he's done everything.
[00:26:15] Here's one for you.
[00:26:16] Here's one for you, Sam.
[00:26:17] And for me, again, recency bias, if I'm building my six, he's 100% in.
[00:26:23] But I understand we've got to go back and we've got to honour the players that built the club.
[00:26:26] You've declared your age.
[00:26:27] It's fine.
[00:26:28] Yeah.
[00:26:28] Without question, Andrew Fafita has to go in there.
[00:26:32] Without question.
[00:26:33] Because, again, scored the grand final winning try, you know, was a dominant force for us in a time where we were really struggling.
[00:26:42] And I feel like Fafita does not get the love and the recognition for how good he really was in those prime years.
[00:26:50] And if he was at any other club, like if he was at the Broncos or the Roosters or a media favourite,
[00:26:56] that Fafita period from like 2013 to 2018, he would be talked about in a completely different light.
[00:27:02] And the love and care that he has for this club too, I think, you know, puts him at a different level.
[00:27:08] But again, he's probably not going to make it on this first cut, which I understand.
[00:27:11] But I think that's the point, right?
[00:27:13] We can't get upset if certain guys don't make it because they're looking to build this into a tradition.
[00:27:18] And those guys will all get it.
[00:27:19] There's no upset.
[00:27:19] It's more just going to be very topical.
[00:27:21] Ash, who's involved with everything, just said jumped on.
[00:27:24] Very interesting.
[00:27:26] David said this about your friend Jimmy.
[00:27:29] He's saying not a club immortal.
[00:27:31] Yes, but what about Hall of Fame, David?
[00:27:34] What about Hall of Fame?
[00:27:35] Yeah, that's a different thing, right?
[00:27:36] So Club Immortals and Hall of Fame are two different things.
[00:27:39] And the only reason I mentioned Jimmy was just because he made that team of the 50 years, right?
[00:27:44] So I think that's an interesting thing that we did, right?
[00:27:47] So I think everyone in that team should make it.
[00:27:48] You can mention Jimmy as much as you want on this show.
[00:27:51] Like he, without him, they're not going there.
[00:27:54] David Austin said, how long since they've played can they be immortal?
[00:27:57] I don't think there's a rule, right?
[00:27:58] I haven't seen that in the wording that I've seen.
[00:28:01] But I know in other sports and I think, you know, even in the NRL, there's a certain time.
[00:28:05] And I think in the NBA, it's something like five years of retirement.
[00:28:08] And I think the NRL had something similar before he could be an immortal.
[00:28:11] And I think they were looking to waive that for Cameron Smith at one point.
[00:28:14] When did Gallen retire?
[00:28:17] Like 19?
[00:28:19] Gallen retired in 2019.
[00:28:21] Okay.
[00:28:22] So that's almost five years.
[00:28:24] Speaking of Gallen, have you got your...
[00:28:27] I know, we'll read the questions first.
[00:28:28] Oh.
[00:28:30] Matt said, some of the old boys should be recognised.
[00:28:32] I do think the guys who were previously mentioned as immortals, should they be in the Hall of Fame as well?
[00:28:38] But I'm assuming it's like a wing, right?
[00:28:40] So there's like, if you're in the Hall of Fame, if you're an immortal, you're already in the Hall of Fame.
[00:28:43] I would think so.
[00:28:44] But you're just at a higher class.
[00:28:45] Well, that's what Matt's saying.
[00:28:46] He said, since the immortals have been named, I don't think those should be in the Hall of Fame.
[00:28:50] So we'll see what happens there.
[00:28:51] What were you going to say about Paul Gallen?
[00:28:52] Have I got my...
[00:28:58] Because I have spent so much time thinking of which jerseys I'm going to take.
[00:29:02] I know.
[00:29:02] Because I think I'm there for six days.
[00:29:03] And my Paul Gallen 2019 jersey is definitely coming.
[00:29:06] The one where he's holding up the trophy.
[00:29:09] That one.
[00:29:10] And the Sharks 9's jersey, which is the worst jersey of all time with the big jaws that's coming.
[00:29:16] Can that be like the day we don't hang out?
[00:29:19] Done.
[00:29:19] Done.
[00:29:20] That'll be cool to see so many jerseys and people about in another town.
[00:29:27] Looking forward to getting over there.
[00:29:29] People are getting pretty excited, actually.
[00:29:31] Let's get back to the Hall of Fame.
[00:29:32] We're skipping subjects.
[00:29:33] You're killing me.
[00:29:34] Sorry.
[00:29:34] I derailed you.
[00:29:35] They're going to make it as fancy as they can.
[00:29:38] Seating on the floor, etc.
[00:29:41] Are they probably going to do it on...
[00:29:42] Are they doing it on the field, are they?
[00:29:43] Yeah, I believe so.
[00:29:44] I mean, weather being...
[00:29:46] Hang on, Ash has got some info.
[00:29:47] Here we go.
[00:29:47] We want consistency moving forward.
[00:29:50] Okay.
[00:29:50] So that's from Ash.
[00:29:51] Ash is the Sharks historian.
[00:29:54] That makes sense.
[00:29:55] And if you want to read that, we want consistency.
[00:29:57] So moving forward, you need to move through stages.
[00:29:59] Life member, Hall of Fame, and Immortal.
[00:30:01] Okay, cool.
[00:30:01] And this is why I said I trusted the whole process so much because...
[00:30:04] He's a good man.
[00:30:04] People like Ash take this very seriously.
[00:30:06] He does.
[00:30:06] Right?
[00:30:07] So it's not as if you're going to be like, how did that guy make it?
[00:30:09] How did that guy not make it?
[00:30:11] Like, the team has put a lot of thought into this, right?
[00:30:14] Because I've seen some of the reactions online to some of the criteria.
[00:30:16] And it's like, guys.
[00:30:17] Of course.
[00:30:17] Like, come on.
[00:30:18] Well, A, there had to be a criteria.
[00:30:21] Otherwise, it'd be notepads and craziness going on.
[00:30:25] But also, yeah, I mean, you mentioned someone before who's been on the show.
[00:30:30] Go back and have a listen to a couple of years.
[00:30:31] I mean, three or four years ago, we interviewed the great Brett Gamale.
[00:30:34] A great interview.
[00:30:36] He's definitely in the running for lots of things to do with this night.
[00:30:40] Well, to be the Hall of Fame, at least.
[00:30:41] I do know that's got people talking yes, no, maybes.
[00:30:45] Just because of the career he had at the Sharks.
[00:30:48] It was up and down.
[00:30:50] It was not necessarily through his own doing, but just he was always sort of in the headlines for on the field stuff, of course.
[00:30:58] Off the field, he was an angel.
[00:30:59] How would you feel, for example, Kieran, right now, if they went, Noddy, you're one of the guys.
[00:31:04] Would you be cool with it?
[00:31:05] Would you be like, eh?
[00:31:06] I spend a lot of time thinking about this club.
[00:31:08] I love this club.
[00:31:09] You do.
[00:31:10] I am a diehard, right?
[00:31:12] So, you know, I wear that badge pretty proudly.
[00:31:15] And I also know that the people behind this process feel the exact same way about this club.
[00:31:20] And I've spent a lot of time researching this.
[00:31:22] I've spent a lot of time breaking down the statistics of this.
[00:31:25] And it's not just a gut feel, right?
[00:31:27] So I would be doing a lot of this stuff on like, how did I feel about that player?
[00:31:31] And how did he make me feel as a Sharks fan, right?
[00:31:34] And I think there will be an element of that, but they will also then go back and look at the data and sort of say, well, this is why this person comes in above this person.
[00:31:42] And to Ash's point around like having a model to follow.
[00:31:46] So like, you know, life member first.
[00:31:49] And I think that's the one thing that I think we've never done really well as a club is honor our life members.
[00:31:54] Because to hit like 100 games at some clubs, they make a huge deal out of that making it a life member.
[00:32:00] Like if you make 100 games, right?
[00:32:02] So I think having that as the first step, and I don't know the criteria to become a life member.
[00:32:06] But I think that's heading in the right direction.
[00:32:08] So if Camoli made it, if the Dodgers think that he deserves to be there, I think sure.
[00:32:14] The other thing I'll say is go back on some of these years that we've had.
[00:32:18] We haven't had a lot of international quality players, right?
[00:32:22] And Camoli did play for Australia while at the Sharks.
[00:32:25] I know there was some Chris Anderson stuff, but he did play rep football after Anderson left, right?
[00:32:29] So again, he was the backbone for our team and a club for a lot of years.
[00:32:33] And he was, you know, the second string behind Joey Johns for a lot of that period while he was with us.
[00:32:37] So having the number two, seven in the game for a lot of years, like him or dislike him, it's worth something, right?
[00:32:44] So again, I'd have no problem if he made it.
[00:32:46] You just gave me an interesting thought in my head, Kieran.
[00:32:49] Are we inviting former coaches to the event?
[00:32:52] Chris Anderson is not invited, I would hope.
[00:32:55] But I'm sure there will be former coaches there.
[00:32:57] I think he would be eligible to be invited personally.
[00:33:00] I'm not saying I would be sending the envelope, but I think if we're looking at it black and white.
[00:33:06] So you and I will have to be on our best behavior that night, my friend.
[00:33:10] Yeah, go back and delete some episodes before that day.
[00:33:12] But I wouldn't have a problem if he was invited because, again, it's a part of our history, right?
[00:33:18] Like it's not the greatest time.
[00:33:20] But I mean, I'm wearing a 2002 jersey right now.
[00:33:23] That was one of my favorite seasons as a Sharks fan.
[00:33:26] Take away the Preston drama.
[00:33:28] And if only we could have made that work.
[00:33:30] It was an extremely important part that molded the club into what it is today.
[00:33:34] Because I remember as a young fan, everyone was saying the Sharks are soft, the Sharks are soft.
[00:33:39] And I even had people telling me you could never win a competition in light blue.
[00:33:43] You'll never win a comp until you change your colors because the Sharks are too soft.
[00:33:46] I haven't heard that one.
[00:33:47] And then they bring in Anderson.
[00:33:49] Yeah, and then you bring in Anderson.
[00:33:50] And Anderson's got this hard edge.
[00:33:52] And he was trying to bring the outsider's perception of the Sharks to the Sharks.
[00:33:56] And that didn't work.
[00:33:57] And then obviously it went through Raper, Stewart, Flanagan.
[00:34:00] And now it feels like we've found that identity.
[00:34:02] Because this club has – I don't think anyone can ever call the Sharks soft now.
[00:34:06] He's saying he started the hardness.
[00:34:08] Is that what you're saying?
[00:34:09] Because I've never thought of it that way.
[00:34:11] I've never thought of it that way either.
[00:34:12] And I'm trying to backtrack on that.
[00:34:14] But I think I've said what I've said.
[00:34:15] So I'm going to have to stand on my business now.
[00:34:17] Knowing the way the world works, you and I might be sitting next to him on the night.
[00:34:21] We're going to have to be cool.
[00:34:22] I'll be cool.
[00:34:23] Well, I've got to stop saying nice things about him before RCB turns up at my house.
[00:34:27] But look, I want to be very clear.
[00:34:29] That whole period was extremely dysfunctional.
[00:34:32] It was not a good time to be a Sharks fan.
[00:34:33] But one of the things I believe in life is everything builds you up to the person that you are today.
[00:34:39] So we would not be the club that we are if we probably didn't go through some of those hardness and changes.
[00:34:44] Interesting.
[00:34:45] Yeah, Ricky Stewart years, mate.
[00:34:47] Those Ricky Stewart years, when we signed Ricky Stewart, I was over the moon.
[00:34:50] Because I thought he's the Australian coach, blah, blah, blah.
[00:34:53] We signed Tupu.
[00:34:54] 2008 was great.
[00:34:55] And then it all went downhill.
[00:34:57] But that led us to Flanagan, right?
[00:34:58] So it all works out.
[00:35:00] It does.
[00:35:00] It does.
[00:35:01] We're just goofing around a bit about the coaches and that kind of thing.
[00:35:03] I do hope they invite the coaches.
[00:35:05] And I hope the great J.Lang is there.
[00:35:06] I hope he gets some love from the Sharks world.
[00:35:11] But yeah, there's no right or wrong here.
[00:35:13] There's going to be lots of different thoughts and opinions on who.
[00:35:16] And of course, they're opening up the can for us and everyone else to go,
[00:35:21] Oh, what about this guy?
[00:35:22] What about that guy?
[00:35:22] There's nothing wrong with that.
[00:35:23] But at the end of the day, if you're...
[00:35:25] Sorry, not if you're...
[00:35:26] At the end of the day, I'm not going to be unhappy with whoever gets up there.
[00:35:28] I'll have an opinion for sure because that's what I do.
[00:35:31] But if it's this player and he's in there, well, then he's in there for a reason.
[00:35:36] You can't argue that.
[00:35:37] And I think we should have multiple Hall of Fames.
[00:35:39] And I think one Hall of Fame we should have is for best single season that a person had out of nowhere.
[00:35:46] First of Campbell.
[00:35:46] And then vanished again.
[00:35:48] Well, Preston Campbell, sure.
[00:35:50] But Fraser Anderson would be my vote for that because Fraser Anderson 2008 was unbelievable.
[00:35:57] And then turns up in preseason one day and says, you know what?
[00:36:00] We're going to play some Japanese rugby now.
[00:36:02] Never saw him again.
[00:36:03] I'm a center.
[00:36:03] I'm a second rower.
[00:36:04] I'm a center.
[00:36:05] I'm a second rower.
[00:36:05] I don't know what I am.
[00:36:06] Let's go.
[00:36:07] He was a winger at one point too.
[00:36:09] He is a good player, man.
[00:36:10] He was great.
[00:36:11] And again, he had that build.
[00:36:13] And we got him from the Broncos and everyone says the Broncos, they're good players.
[00:36:18] But then he was, that 2008 season, he was unbelievable.
[00:36:22] Fraser Van Anderson and Brett Seymour played before?
[00:36:25] Together or not?
[00:36:25] I don't know if they played at the Broncos, but they definitely probably were at the club at the same time.
[00:36:30] Oh, you're saying at the Broncos they would have been at the club but maybe not played first grade?
[00:36:33] Yeah.
[00:36:33] Yeah.
[00:36:34] Yeah, right.
[00:36:34] Yeah, they both would have been there the year before.
[00:36:36] Fitz wants to know if there'll be an actual Hall.
[00:36:40] At this point, we can't say, but we're hoping there will be a Hall of some sort at some point.
[00:36:45] We need a roof first.
[00:36:47] We do, and I'm confident we'll get one.
[00:36:49] I'm confident.
[00:36:50] They'll do it somewhere.
[00:36:51] They'll honour us.
[00:36:51] Matt says, fate, things happen for a reason.
[00:36:54] Matt's getting deep on us.
[00:36:55] I love it.
[00:36:56] Hall of Fame.
[00:36:56] I'm excited, dude.
[00:36:57] I'm excited.
[00:36:58] It's going to be fun.
[00:36:59] How are we going for time here, Kieran?
[00:37:01] Oh yeah, got a few more minutes.
[00:37:03] What else is happening for you in Sharkland?
[00:37:05] What's your vibe for the season?
[00:37:09] What's going to be success?
[00:37:11] What's going to be a bust?
[00:37:12] So success for me is definitely a top four finish again.
[00:37:16] Ideally, that top two spot.
[00:37:18] That's my expectation heading into this season.
[00:37:21] I think the biggest question for me is the long-term management of this roster.
[00:37:27] We still do have a lot of quality players off contracts, such as Ronaldo.
[00:37:31] What do we do with Will Kennedy?
[00:37:33] How do these storylines develop over the year, and what potential for disruption does that have for the roster?
[00:37:40] You don't want to be going into the finals in September and having people saying,
[00:37:44] is Will Kennedy going to be here next year, or is it going to be ice?
[00:37:47] I like to have a lot of those things sorted out early, whether it's we've re-signed or we make that decision to part ways.
[00:37:54] Whatever that is, I just like that to be settled before the middle part of the season.
[00:37:59] Because again, that back half of the season, we don't really leave Sydney.
[00:38:03] I think our longest trip is probably Newcastle, right?
[00:38:05] So for about three months there from about July.
[00:38:08] So I'd like to be as stable as possible going into that point.
[00:38:11] It's going to be rough travel before that.
[00:38:14] But I think for me, those are the big storylines, is making sure that we sort of work out where we're looking.
[00:38:20] And I think the most interesting point for me is the amount of middles that we have off contract right now.
[00:38:27] And what do we end up doing?
[00:38:29] Because come November 1st of this year, Toby and Hamlin Ueli can talk to other people for the year after.
[00:38:37] And we came into last year with Royce Hunt in a similar situation, right?
[00:38:41] So do we end up keeping both those guys or giving one a tap on the shoulder and saying,
[00:38:46] maybe you can leave a little bit earlier?
[00:38:48] But I think that's probably the big thing for me.
[00:38:50] But I think getting Hamlin Ueli fit.
[00:38:53] And again, I saw him this morning walking down the streets of Cronulla and he looks massive.
[00:38:59] He's almost like a new signing for us.
[00:39:00] And I think if you were the Warriors and you didn't get Fisher Harris, but you got Hamlin Ueli,
[00:39:06] you'd be looking at him as a really good addition to your team and saying, well, maybe he can step up for us.
[00:39:10] So the fact that we've got him, but we still have Kofusi.
[00:39:13] We still have Hazleton.
[00:39:15] We still have Tooks.
[00:39:16] We still have potentially Toby when he gets back too.
[00:39:19] I think our middle is going to be a really exciting thing for us to partner with Camille Blake because I think he's going to be a game changer for us.
[00:39:25] All right.
[00:39:26] On the Insta, we've got Essence Bodyboarding saying they agree with the Paul Gallen comments about being an immortal.
[00:39:35] Kapowie 16 said the first club of mortals, in my opinion, are Steve Rogers, Gavin Miller, ET, Greg Pearce and Paul Gallen.
[00:39:41] Some great men there.
[00:39:43] Can't be argued with.
[00:39:43] Appreciate everyone who's jumping all over the place on all the different streams.
[00:39:47] We are going to wrap very shortly.
[00:39:50] But on Will Kennedy, you mentioned him just before.
[00:39:53] I read an article on Zero Tackle, so free plug for them.
[00:39:57] I was texting with our, what's the term?
[00:40:01] Not colleague.
[00:40:02] I guess he's a part-time colleague.
[00:40:03] Our colleague, Dan from Fins Up.
[00:40:06] Nemesis.
[00:40:07] No, no, no.
[00:40:07] He's not Nemesis.
[00:40:08] Those days are way over.
[00:40:10] I said to him, the people at Zero Tackle have called Liam Eisen the next Billy Slater.
[00:40:16] And I said, that's going too far too soon.
[00:40:20] And we said a joke a little bit.
[00:40:21] I'm just saying that there's a lot of hype on Liam Eisen.
[00:40:25] And he's very good.
[00:40:26] And we've seen it in NRL.
[00:40:28] We've seen it in New South Wales Cup.
[00:40:29] I kind of want everyone to put the brakes on about both Will Kennedy and Liam.
[00:40:34] I just want it to happen naturally.
[00:40:35] Whatever's going to happen is going to happen.
[00:40:37] But let's just calm the farm here.
[00:40:39] Because the only thing we want is this club to be successful on the field.
[00:40:42] And if there's competition for a spot, it's fine.
[00:40:45] But let's not go too crazy about everything else.
[00:40:47] And I really hope it doesn't happen.
[00:40:48] But let's say Will goes down with an injury.
[00:40:50] Is Daniel Atkinson going to be going to fullback for us?
[00:40:54] Like, is he the second string fullback for us?
[00:40:57] Or is it Eisen, right?
[00:40:58] Or is it Cade Dykes?
[00:40:59] So it's not just like Eisen's going to walk straight in.
[00:41:03] He was re-signed for a long time, though.
[00:41:05] Absolutely he was.
[00:41:06] But again, that has been shown to be a fitzy model with a plan.
[00:41:10] So even look at Stone Street, right?
[00:41:12] So Stone Street, I know he's off contract.
[00:41:14] A lot of fans want him to be kept.
[00:41:15] And I do too.
[00:41:16] But he was re-signed on a two-year deal.
[00:41:19] Basically knowing he was going to be behind Katoa and Ronaldo for the next two seasons.
[00:41:24] And that's proven to be the case.
[00:41:25] He's got some opportunities.
[00:41:26] He's done great.
[00:41:27] But again, I think they talk to these young fellas and sort of say, look, this is the plan for you.
[00:41:31] And, you know, Mooney talks about, I look at our roster on a four-year view, five-year view.
[00:41:36] Eisen's in that plan.
[00:41:37] I just don't know when he is in that plan.
[00:41:39] Fair enough.
[00:41:40] And I hope he is as good as Billy Slater.
[00:41:42] That would be amazing.
[00:41:43] I'm not saying he won't be or he can't be.
[00:41:45] I just, as a fan, don't want to see too much of that kind of crazy hype.
[00:41:50] As Fitz says, our dear listener and viewer, he says that's a premature expectation.
[00:41:55] So, that's NRL journalism.
[00:41:58] I get it.
[00:41:58] I get what you're writing about.
[00:41:59] I get it.
[00:42:00] I'm not putting any shed in those guys.
[00:42:02] They do a great job over there.
[00:42:03] But I just found it very interesting that they were going that far that soon after one NRL game.
[00:42:08] Kieran, we got a wrap.
[00:42:10] You and I can talk about Chucks all day.
[00:42:12] We usually do.
[00:42:13] Today we can't.
[00:42:14] But we'll be back for more chats throughout this summertime.
[00:42:18] We're going to be all over the shop.
[00:42:20] Just keep an ear to our socials and you will find us.
[00:42:23] Appreciate everyone.
[00:42:25] Kieran, appreciate you.
[00:42:26] Again, I was going to say Happy New Year, but I'm not allowed.
[00:42:29] It's not time for that.
[00:42:31] We'll talk to you soon.
[00:42:32] Up, up, Cronulla.
[00:42:33] Let's go.
[00:42:35] Shut up, guys.
[00:42:36] Shut up, guys.
[00:42:53] Turn your porch lights off.
[00:42:54] Put your carpet on with the chat.
