And I thought Britt did some really good things. Obviously his handling wasn't great, but I think contract time, it's going to be a great debate to have. Sharks win 20 points to 18. I'm going to get through all the comments. Do not worry. Keep them coming. Currently, yeah, Roosters lead 4-0. Sharks are in third place on 28 points. Well, you know what? We're equal second, technically. Warriors, Cronulla, Roosters all on 28.

[00:09:52] Our foreign against is 125, which is about 50 more than the Roosters, but they have the two points in hand. If they win, Warriors are about 70 ahead of us. But things are going pretty good in Sharkland. I like that. As far as some stats for you guys and girls, we completed it at about 76. We need to do better than that. We lost the line breaks. We won the offloads just. Won the run meters.

[00:10:23] We missed under 30 tackles, which isn't too bad, but they had less. We won the penalty count. Hip, hip, hooray. We won the penalty count 7-2. Am I reading that right? It doesn't look right, but we're reading that right. 7-2. We had more errors. Set restarts were the same. So, a pretty even game, although we do win a lot of the stats there, including, unbelievably, the penalty count.

There was a few things with those last few kicks where he'd want the one again. Actually, they saved that try, didn't they? Was it Nico and Billy? [00:11:19] And the last play, which sent us all into spiraling anxiety, he slipped over. So, it wasn't his, you know, he was meaning to be in the right place, but he slipped over. But I thought aside from that, he was really good attacking the ball, running hard, creative, pretty safe. So, I'm with you, Dion. I think he's going really good. Ghastly10 says, hey, Sam, didn't hate the game. Was fun. Loved Trindle's effort. It's going to win us a lot of games if he keeps that up.

[00:11:48] I thought, what are your thoughts on Tom Young's interaction with Braley? Well, from what I saw, and you guys and girls know my eyesight isn't phenomenal. But from what I saw, it looked like, it looked like Dominic Young grabbed AFB's hair or head or something up here. It wasn't good. And why would you do that for starters? And Braley sort of was involved. And I think he was just super frustrated. But I love the fact that we didn't back down. I don't like the fact we didn't get the penalty.

[00:12:19] Then we gave the penalty away. So, that's, you know, the coach would not like that at all. But I thought the penalty went the wrong way. I'm not here to ref bash. It was a short 10 being here in the flesh. And some of the, even the bunker decisions were a bit kooky. But again, I don't have access to like 4K TV here at Shark Park. But yeah, it was a bit weird that last thing. Bit weird. Now we have another person from Hawke's Bay in New Zealand up up. I think it's a different person. Wow.

But James says, always important to get the wins when they aren't necessarily the best team. Showed some good grit to hold them out defensively in the last 10 to 15 minutes. Yeah, absolutely. And I don't want to bring that on because it brings bad press, but I do want to bring on the anxiety

[00:23:08] that someone like, I'm not even going to mention the names of those people in the media, but they might think there's a chance it might happen. And that would make me sleep better at night that they're not sleeping at night, worried about whether we get to enjoy our home stadium or not. Glenn says, not the best performance, but certainly taking two points, especially as they try and maintain that top four position. It may prove to be very important as we head into the final rounds.

We had the best strike rate and I know the dolphins game would have helped, but the best strike rate of scoring inside the opposition 20. So we need the least least amount of time, fewest amount of tackles to score from there. So I wouldn't say it's an overriding problem, but I understand you speaking about today.

Thoughts on AFB coming off the bench moving forward? I think it's something that should be considered against the top teams, especially how well it works against the Finns.

[00:26:52] I mean, it would work in the sense that he'd be great coming off the bench, but you would need obviously Jesse Colhoun to return and then hopefully a Hazleton, I guess. I can tell you this, I'm just glad he's going to be okay because gentleman in front of me, whose name I don't know, because I haven't made that connection yet, but we had a chat. He's a viewer, which is awesome, listener viewer.

And at halftime, I popped into the media area and, you know, Riccio and a few people there, and they were saying it's not pec, but they thought it was. And there's a couple coming up probably after the Manly Souths game, which are next still pretty tough run. I think I did say that Latrell may not be back for the Souths game, which is good for us. Garcett's answered how the injured guys are looking for next week. And he's AFB OK. We'll be at Brookvale next week where I have a hundred percent win rate. That's pretty good.

You happy with how things are going? What do you need to improve on? What are you thinking? Well, I always think you start to judge a team post-origin. Like before origin, you just got to hang in there. And I think post-origin now we've found ourselves in the top four.

[00:33:01] I think we can cement ourselves in the top four. I think we just have to, and once we get started to get some of our troops coming back. Colquhoun, who I thought has just been amazing this year, I think will make a huge difference. Talakai. Personally, I would, I think Burns needs to start. I really do. Yeah. I would have him starting. I actually like Mikra coming off the bench. Yeah.

[00:33:28] I don't know if he likes coming off the bench, but yeah. And I thought it's great to see Hines running the ball more. It just seems to me that I know that it doesn't matter whether Hines is six or Trindle's seven, but like I think they've found their way of playing together. Yeah. And Hines is in really good touch and he's kicking tonight. I mean, like he kicked that goal from the sideline. Yeah. That prevented golden point. It's just, it's just great. It's just great. So yeah. Yeah.

[00:33:58] When he's, when he's confident, which I think, I think that he cops a bit of a batter up about his confidence and I think people assume how he's feeling, which I've always found really intriguing looking at him closely like I do, but I think he's a lot more confident people give him the credit for. And you've seen it this year, especially you saw it in his first year. But yeah, he's, he's just going out doing his thing. I don't think having Freddie Michalak here hurts at all with his experience. Yeah. He's a footballer in general and a bit of a different taken on things.

[00:34:28] And obviously his kicking's improved since he got back. So that, I don't think that's a coincidence. So yeah, the halves are going really well. Trindle keeps, you know, improving, which is, I didn't, I didn't, didn't really have that one in my, in my wheel. I didn't think that I thought maybe he was going to be like an eight out of 10 player. And that was kind of it, but he's having maybe not tonight, but this year he's having nine out of 10 games. He's having closer to 10. Like he's really a dominant force in this team, which is great.

[00:34:57] Like the, the more he does that, the more he matures, the closer we get to the Holy Grail. I think. I think Trindle's key to the team because he unlocks Heinz. Like I think every time Trindle has a good game, we win. And it just allows Heinz to run the ball to do his thing. And I just think we play so well. And he, even tonight that ball he threw for Katoa for that try. It was great ball. Great ball. You know, like he just, he just knows when to throw those balls. He's just great.

[00:35:26] Like, I mean, yeah, one bad kick where he cooked it out in the full. Okay. Yeah. It happens, but his defense is great. Yeah. And he's got so much confidence. For a small club, I feel like it's underappreciated how well we do with the facilities we have. It's completely accurate. [00:49:50] It's just how it is, right? And hopefully in the future that can change and somehow we can improve all that. But I don't think that as a generalization, like if you just blanketly say the media, I don't think the media despise the Sharks. That's my personal opinion. What I will say is there are people in the media who like to focus on easy targets.

[00:50:18] They like to focus on things from the past that they probably assume are the same. So, and I think people in some people in the media like to be kind of bullies and sort of shock jocks and that kind of thing. And, and to be perfectly honest, if you're not aware of it, like it is all about click baits and that kind of thing. And if you get more clicks, then you get paid more money and you make more money.

[00:50:46] And it's the same with what I was going to say was the word media is such a widespread word. Now people consider us shark cast media, which is fine. That's great. I mean, I started it for different reasons, but happy to be called in that area. But people get paid for clicks and they get paid for likes and for shares and all that kind of stuff. And it's not in the way where I say to you guys like and share my stuff. It's that's different. It's a whole different story.

[00:51:13] But for example, the people that wanted to say that we were moving grounds next year, and we won't mention who they are. And they're factually not even close to being factual for all of their, their attention on their, on their podcast, on their website, on their YouTube and everything else. They had a big payday and they had a big day of metrics. And they can take that to sponsors and advertising. So, and I'm getting off the topic here a little bit. Let's see.

[00:51:42] But that's why you see the individuals get kind of so mean about it. And, you know, there's a fellow who's obsessed with this beautiful stadium right behind me. How could you not like this stadium? Give me a break. But twice a year, he runs a story and he's fairly well up the chain at a few different news organizations. And it's an easy, right? Like he writes this thing and it's half correct, half not correct. People click on it. Hey, I had a good weekend.

[00:52:12] Look at all my clicks. I don't personally understand it. The other thing I would say, let's see is that Sharks fans interpret, I would say ill-informed comments as hate. And it's not that. So for example, this week I saw someone say the Sharks don't win big matches. And I just went, well, hang on. In 2025, we went deep into the finals and lost to Melbourne, I think it was.

[00:52:40] So beat Canterbury last round of the year. Everyone loved Canterbury. Away from home. Beat the Roosters at our home. Everyone was favoring the Roosters. Went down to Canberra, beat Canberra by a million. And then competed with Melbourne for an hour in the prelim. And then people go, well, you can't win big games. So that's, when Sharks fans hear that, they go, he hates us. No, he doesn't hate us. He just is uneducated about the subject. I just, there are some people out there.

[00:53:07] I would say there are a couple of people I've mentioned loosely who really dislike the Sharks. One of them that I hinted at is a St. George fan. It's kind of funny. Whatever, I get it. The hate. But you know, we just got to be better than that as a club. And we're going okay. We're not perfect. This ground behind me is not perfect, but it's as close as perfect as it gets.
