[00:00:50] Back in the Shire, turn your port slides off cause we're coming home with a trophy!

[00:01:05] Hey there, welcome to SharkCast Pod, a podcast dedicated to the greatest sporting club in the history of the entire universe.

[00:01:13] SharkCast Pod brought to you by Dyson Logistics, the Royal Motor Yacht Club in Port Hacking, and Jason Hawes from Crips & Crips Real Estate.

[00:01:18] I am Sam Shinauzy OG2015, and I am here with my good friend who I've known for a lot longer than 2015, that's for sure.

[00:01:26] He's a lifetime Sharks fanatic. He is the best entomologist in the world.

[00:01:32] He is an amazing recording artist, sometimes performer in the acts known as Seaworthy around the world.

[00:01:39] And tonight he is all ours regular on the show, Dr. Cameron Webb.

[00:01:44] Welcome back my friend in this post-season episode.

[00:01:48] Sam, good to be with you.

[00:01:50] A very kind introduction as always, and even though the football season is over, I'm glad to announce that we can still be friends in the off-season.

[00:01:58] That's the best thing, isn't it?

[00:01:59] Yeah, I mean you and I have a lot of experience in off-season friendships.

[00:02:05] So, some I don't even want to think about to be honest.

[00:02:08] But we are here, it is 2024.

[00:02:11] We are freshly off the season that was one game away from the GF.

[00:02:16] We were both at the prelim.

[00:02:18] How are you recovering from that, I'm going to say, tight loss despite the 20 point difference?

[00:02:25] It was disappointing, I guess, that we went into that sort of expecting that result, but hoping for a pretty good performance.

[00:02:32] And I think for the most part, we did put up a really good performance.

[00:02:35] And I guess we were just run down in that last quarter of the game or thereabouts.

[00:02:39] And I think that there's a lot to take out of it.

[00:02:42] And I think above all else, the lesson we'll learn from that prelim is the same as what all of the losing teams on the grand final day have learned as well,

[00:02:52] is that in these big games, you just can't make mistakes.

[00:02:55] You know, you cut the errors out and you're in a much better place to win the game.

[00:03:00] And I think that above all else, that's kind of been a reminder.

[00:03:05] It doesn't matter how good the rest of the season is.

[00:03:07] If you can't turn up to those big games and cut out the mistakes, you're going to be in trouble.

[00:03:13] Yeah, it was kind of bizarre to watch, especially watch in person, just how horribly wrong that went, even as close as the game was for 65 minutes.

[00:03:24] The continued drop ball, it was super frustrating.

[00:03:28] And we've seen it throughout the year.

[00:03:30] We haven't seen it every week, to be fair.

[00:03:32] But I guess when you've got that in your arsenal, sometimes, you know, obviously without cause, without reason, without trying to do it, it's going to pop out of your arsenal.

[00:03:42] And that's what we saw.

[00:03:43] That's why we lost, in my opinion.

[00:03:45] We are going to get through a bunch of mail tonight.

[00:03:47] And a lot of the mail is about how close we went.

[00:03:49] But, and that's the big but there, as you say, the errors.

[00:03:53] What did you make of the experience of being out there, Cam?

[00:03:57] You've been to a few prelims now.

[00:03:58] How was your night, aside from the results?

[00:04:00] Yeah, it was a pretty good night.

[00:04:03] We were sitting amongst all the Sharks, sort of ticketed members bay area.

[00:04:08] And so great to be surrounded by Sharks fans, great atmosphere.

[00:04:13] Weird that it wasn't, the crowd wasn't bigger.

[00:04:15] I kind of really did expect a bigger crowd, mostly made up by Panthers fans.

[00:04:23] I've come around to thinking that we've got to get the hang of playing in these bigger stadiums.

[00:04:28] And I guess on the back of the week before, great atmosphere there.

[00:04:32] But yeah, I don't particularly love that stadium compared to Combank and Allianz.

[00:04:40] But great atmosphere sitting amongst Sharks fans.

[00:04:43] And, you know, it's pretty good vibes, you know, right up until that last sort of 10 minutes or so.

[00:04:49] Yeah, I haven't actually thought about it since that night, Cam.

[00:04:51] But now when you mention those other two stadiums, if that game was held there, it would have been jam-packed.

[00:04:57] So that's a bit of hindsight for the NRL perhaps to look at.

[00:05:01] I know that the Panthers get the home ground area advantage in Western Sydney.

[00:05:07] I get that.

[00:05:08] But if we play them again, for example, that might be a factor.

[00:05:12] But we're not here to talk about crowds, although we will touch on someone who does want to speak about that later on.

[00:05:18] Now, Cam, you also went to the grand final last Sunday, primarily to watch the Shark Jets and the NRLW Sharks.

[00:05:28] Tell us about that experience.

[00:05:30] Yeah, really good.

[00:05:32] You know, always exciting to have kind of essentially two Sharks teams in the grand final.

[00:05:38] But especially for the NRLW, you know, we were really excited for them to be in the grand final.

[00:05:43] In the week leading up to them, we went down to the open training session, really impressed by the whole squad and their professionalism and generosity and, you know, talking to the fans and things like that.

[00:05:56] So they were, you know, 100% behind the girls.

[00:06:00] They looked pretty good in training, I've got to admit.

[00:06:02] So we left there with a fair bit of confidence.

[00:06:06] We were in the super cheap seats.

[00:06:08] And so we were a long way away from the field, but still surrounded by a few Sharks fans.

[00:06:14] It was pretty clear that there was a pretty good turnout of both Sharks and Roosters fans in the area where we were.

[00:06:21] And so there was a pretty good atmosphere for it.

[00:06:24] And so, you know, we can talk about the game a bit more, but I suppose the take home for me is that, you know, again, the girls made too many mistakes in the first half.

[00:06:34] They rallied and fought back in the second.

[00:06:37] It was an incredibly exciting game.

[00:06:38] Great atmosphere.

[00:06:39] We got excited there at moments.

[00:06:41] But again, a reminder that, you know, maybe what could have been had a few of those errors been cut out in the first half.

[00:06:50] Yeah, for sure.

[00:06:51] I mean, they were the form team all year.

[00:06:53] They obviously had a dip towards the end of the season, but they were so close in the end that probably five more minutes we level the game and extra time or whatever.

[00:07:03] But it is a good lesson.

[00:07:04] Just on that team, I want to point out, as you said, how professional they are in two years of existence.

[00:07:11] I know some of the women have had careers at other clubs, but for a team that's two years in existence, the way they handle themselves with the media, the sponsors, the fans,

[00:07:21] the fans, it is A-plus, classy, professional, friendly, interesting.

[00:07:28] And it's like they've been waiting this whole time and probably just observing the NRL male competition.

[00:07:33] And they've taken the good stuff, left out the bad stuff, and they're just ready to go.

[00:07:39] So absolute credit to the Sharks club is the NRLW team.

[00:07:44] And it was really exciting that second half.

[00:07:46] I can only imagine how amped you guys were in the crowd at what could have been.

[00:07:51] But yeah, in the end, just some more mistakes.

[00:07:54] And the Jets game, what did you make of that?

[00:07:57] Yeah, it was really frustrating because the Jets seemed like they were on top for the entire game.

[00:08:04] And again, there are a few too many errors made.

[00:08:09] And they really felt, I felt like they were really on top and almost they were always going to win.

[00:08:16] Even when the Devils kind of came back and scored towards the end there, you thought there was always a chance.

[00:08:23] A reminder that you just can't make these mistakes in these big games.

[00:08:29] But great seeing the guys go around.

[00:08:30] And there's no question that it's pretty exciting for the Sharks in the future.

[00:08:34] That Ice and Stone Street try was as good a try as you'll see.

[00:08:39] That was pretty exciting.

[00:08:41] Some of the defense was great.

[00:08:44] You know, it just was a disappointing result when we...

[00:08:46] I think in all honesty, I thought that we were the better team.

[00:08:50] And it was sort of unfortunate.

[00:08:52] A few errors towards the back end there kind of really cost us.

[00:08:55] The other guy involved in that try cam was Chris Vaila, who's the promising young center.

[00:09:00] So it was very obvious to me that in the future you could have those three guys in the NRL team and they wouldn't let you down.

[00:09:07] Oh, 100%, Sam.

[00:09:08] I mean, I think it's...

[00:09:10] You know, you watch...

[00:09:11] You look at that game and you think there's three or four players, five players that were in that squad

[00:09:17] that you'd feel quite comfortable coming in to the NRL team in due time or even if they need to fill a gap during the 2025 season.

[00:09:27] So from that, it's a really encouraging result.

[00:09:30] Just a shame that they didn't get the win.

[00:09:31] The other guy that we've spoken about on the show, and I say unfortunately, and I say it lighthearted, so bear with me.

[00:09:39] He's fallen into the perennial reserve grade captain veteran existence already.

[00:09:46] And that's Billy Burns.

[00:09:47] But he looks really good in that.

[00:09:49] Yeah.

[00:09:49] I thought he was pretty good.

[00:09:51] He's one of those players that seems to go about his work and he's hardly noticed.

[00:09:55] Pretty solid.

[00:09:56] And I mean, the fact you don't notice him probably is a good sign.

[00:09:58] He's just a good, solid workhorse of a player.

[00:10:01] But they were...

[00:10:03] Again, they were...

[00:10:05] I don't know.

[00:10:06] I haven't watched the game back, but it really seemed like it was one of those games that they kind of really managed to lose quite unfortunately,

[00:10:14] that they were, yeah, the better team, but just couldn't...

[00:10:18] And it had a few defensive lapses and a few errors there really cost them in the end.

[00:10:22] Now, some quick thoughts on Jack Williams leaving the club.

[00:10:27] I'm disappointed only because I like Jack and I feel like he's been a bit hard done by at times by Sharks fans.

[00:10:37] But I'm also a realist in that we couldn't keep everybody.

[00:10:43] And I don't know if at the end of the day, I really wanted to keep Jack above some of the other players or at least the money that would be used to re-sign Jack.

[00:10:55] Couldn't be better spent securing a few of those other players in the squad.

[00:10:58] But I'm disappointed to see him go.

[00:11:00] I wish him all the best at Parramatta.

[00:11:04] But at the end of the day, it probably doesn't feel as great a loss as it did mid-season when he had that string of really great games he put together.

[00:11:14] Yeah.

[00:11:15] Let's jump into the mail cam because there's a lot of scenarios to cover and things about people leaving or potentially leaving.

[00:11:23] And there's a lot of good stuff.

[00:11:24] There's some negative stuff.

[00:11:25] It's all in there.

[00:11:26] So stay with us.

[00:11:28] The first one is from Danny.

[00:11:29] And he was pretty impressed with the season, but he said, what's going to be different next year?

[00:11:33] He said, adding AFB is a great start, but I believe we're missing something else.

[00:11:37] I think it's the fullback.

[00:11:39] Kennedy is good, but I believe he's hit his ceiling.

[00:11:43] Move Hines there and have the halves pairing of Trindle and Atkinson with Isen at least one year off.

[00:11:50] So Cam, initial thoughts on Danny's reaction.

[00:11:55] Will Kennedy, the halves, are you tinkering there?

[00:11:58] What are you doing with the team?

[00:12:00] Look, I'm a defender of Will.

[00:12:01] And I think that he's, I completely admit that he's not the kind of fullback that gets the crowd on their feet and has those winning moments like some of the other fullbacks do.

[00:12:12] But for the most part, he's been pretty safe at the back most of the season.

[00:12:20] And he probably doesn't get the credit for that he deserves.

[00:12:24] And I also think, Sam, I mean, Isen is still, I think he's still a couple of years away.

[00:12:30] And it's worth noting that despite him featuring pretty heavily in that highlight reel for the grand final, he also made a couple of mistakes at the back end of that game, which were tough situations.

[00:12:40] But, you know, he wasn't flawless.

[00:12:42] And at the end of the day, in the NRL grand final, you know, Storm had Pappenhausen and he was hardly at his best either.

[00:12:52] And so I think that, I think it's too easy to get swayed by some of these fullbacks and their highlight reels and without a full understanding of their full game.

[00:13:05] So I'm happy at the moment to have Will play fullback next season.

[00:13:11] I don't know.

[00:13:13] I'd feel a little bit nervous if we were kind of tinkering and throwing Niko back there.

[00:13:19] But if that's the coach's decision, you know, I'll go with the flow.

[00:13:23] But at the moment, we've got it.

[00:13:25] I sort of feel like we've got some attacking potential elsewhere.

[00:13:29] Let's focus on that rather than moving Will.

[00:13:32] So the Heinz to fullback thing is good in theory, but people are talking about a time that was what, four years ago when he was doing that.

[00:13:41] I mean, four years has passed.

[00:13:42] He's played a lot of games, a lot of footies, had injuries.

[00:13:46] He's almost 30.

[00:13:48] I don't know if that's the time you start throwing someone back to fullback given the way fullbacks play these days.

[00:13:54] I understand the idea.

[00:13:55] He can be free floating.

[00:13:57] He can pass all that kind of thing.

[00:13:59] But I don't know if he's the guy you want at the back in current, not so much form, but just in his current life.

[00:14:07] I think he's, you know, he won Dalliem half of the year, player of the year.

[00:14:11] It's either halves or it's not going to work.

[00:14:13] And I'm of the belief it will work.

[00:14:15] People forget that he was on track with Dalliem points earlier in this year before he got injured.

[00:14:20] He was winning man of the match.

[00:14:23] He was going great.

[00:14:24] He was picked for origin.

[00:14:26] So it's not like he had this disastrous year.

[00:14:29] Now he came back from injury.

[00:14:31] It wasn't what it was.

[00:14:32] He was up.

[00:14:33] He was down.

[00:14:33] He was up.

[00:14:34] He was down.

[00:14:37] And we've with Trindle and and Will and Blake as the spine.

[00:14:43] I think there's a lot of potential there still.

[00:14:45] And let's not forget, we went one game short of a grand final.

[00:14:48] I don't know contract wise what's going to happen with Atkinson.

[00:14:53] So I don't know if he's necessarily going to jump in and play in the halves for us.

[00:14:58] It's one to watch and see, but I'd be surprised if the coach puts Nico.

[00:15:02] I'd be surprised if the coach messes with the spine at all, Cam.

[00:15:05] I just think that he'll say, hey, we had a pretty awkward end of the year.

[00:15:11] Let's work on it.

[00:15:11] Let's get it right.

[00:15:12] So Danny also says he wants Talakai in the back row with Teague to go to the bench.

[00:15:19] And I don't like that one.

[00:15:21] I think Teague's either an 80 minute player or he's not playing.

[00:15:24] Do you have any thoughts on that, Cam?

[00:15:25] Yeah, no, 100% I'm with you, Sam.

[00:15:27] And I think, I actually think Talakai is going to have much greater impact off the bench.

[00:15:33] I don't want to see him playing out in the centers again.

[00:15:36] And I like, I like the idea of him coming off the bench.

[00:15:40] I agree with you about Teague.

[00:15:42] I mean, he plays better when he's out there for 80 minutes.

[00:15:44] Now here's one that's going to come up quite a lot.

[00:15:46] And I'm happy to bring it up now.

[00:15:47] And we've already brought it up on the show in the, in the year gone by, but Danny says,

[00:15:52] Stone Street needs a spot.

[00:15:53] Do we keep Ronnie or do we keep Sione?

[00:15:58] Up up from Danny.

[00:16:00] And you were there firsthand, Cam, to see Stone Street absolutely go nuts in the, in the Super Bowl.

[00:16:09] Obviously we've seen him in first grade.

[00:16:11] He's done great things.

[00:16:12] There's a lot of pros about him.

[00:16:14] There's not too many cons.

[00:16:15] The problem for Sam is that we have two excellent wingers already.

[00:16:19] I think that maybe if Ronaldo kind of balks on the contract, if he wants too much money, then we sort of start wondering about this sort of thing.

[00:16:29] But I'm of the belief that Sione Cato is probably our best player in that last game.

[00:16:34] And he's the one that people kind of want out.

[00:16:36] And I don't really want to lose Sione, to be honest.

[00:16:39] So I want Stone Street there.

[00:16:41] I want Ronnie there.

[00:16:42] I want Sione there.

[00:16:43] I don't really have an answer.

[00:16:44] Cam, do you have a preference with these three guys, three guys into two?

[00:16:47] So Stone Street's great.

[00:16:48] And I don't think he's going to be out of place in the NRL team, but letting either of those guys, or at least tapping either of those guys on the shoulders and saying, you know, move on seems a mistake, if not very unfair.

[00:17:06] And I think realistically, both Sione and Ronaldo, they can find an injury or a niggle.

[00:17:15] And I think for 2025, if Stone Street knows that he's the next man up on the wing, I think that's not unreasonable.

[00:17:23] And particularly from 2026 onwards, we really think about what these two existing wingers are doing.

[00:17:30] I mean, unfortunately, I suppose there's the issue about whether or not the decision is taken out of our hands a little bit if particularly Ronnie decides for whatever reason to move elsewhere.

[00:17:42] So I think I'm of the feeling that if we lose any of our starters, I'm not that worried because Stone Street comes into the team.

[00:17:53] But I don't necessarily want to, you know, move on either of those guys.

[00:17:59] And I agree with you.

[00:18:00] I think Sione was really great in that prelim, although a lot of that was just pure effort as well.

[00:18:09] But, you know, at the end of the day, you know, Stone Street's, you know, he's got speed and agility out there.

[00:18:18] He's just as good a finisher as Sione and probably Ronaldo as well.

[00:18:24] He probably has got them both the pace.

[00:18:26] And so I guess the issue really here for the Sharks is going to be Stone Street's patience in waiting to get into that starting squad as well.

[00:18:35] The advantage he has is he's, I would imagine, he's the tallest out of the three.

[00:18:39] Definitely taller than Sione.

[00:18:40] Yeah, definitely.

[00:18:41] I'm not sure.

[00:18:42] Yeah, I don't know whether he's taller.

[00:18:44] I mean, I guess that that's the thing is that Ronnie's been great in the air at times for the last couple of seasons.

[00:18:51] And so I don't think whatever his height is, his attacking ability in the air isn't sort of really questioned too much.

[00:18:57] But certainly being able to have that on both sides of the field are great.

[00:19:02] I suppose what I'd really like to see is what Stone Street's like running the ball out in NRL.

[00:19:11] I can't sort of feel like whether he's quite got the strength of Sione.

[00:19:15] Like at the moment, I feel like he's probably not as – he might be taller than Sione, but he's probably not as strong as Sione.

[00:19:23] And I guess that, you know, the Panthers have demonstrated pretty well with someone like To'o.

[00:19:28] Having someone, you know, strong to be able to run – take those runs from the back is probably just as important and overcomes any sort of deficiencies he might have in the air.

[00:19:38] But, yeah, I mean, Stone Street's got many, many years ahead of him to develop.

[00:19:45] And I suppose I'm positive about where he's – the place he'll have in the team in due time.

[00:19:49] Yeah, for sure.

[00:19:50] For sure.

[00:19:51] Shaki Pete says,

[00:19:53] Too many errors against the Panthers.

[00:19:56] Disappointed, but it's done now.

[00:19:57] What I can say is I love this club.

[00:19:59] I'm 56 years old.

[00:20:01] I go to every home game, some away games, and I do this with my 30-year-old son.

[00:20:06] I love that I have this with him.

[00:20:09] It actually makes me emotional thinking about it.

[00:20:11] So when I look at the ledger for the year, the team has given us more happiness than disappointment.

[00:20:17] I'd like to thank you and your co-hosts and guests for an awesome year on the podcast.

[00:20:22] Black, white, and blue till I die.

[00:20:25] Shaki Pete.

[00:20:26] Thanks, Pete.

[00:20:26] Appreciate your support and kind words.

[00:20:28] I mean, Cam, you can relate to that.

[00:20:30] I can relate to it only a little bit about bonding with the child.

[00:20:33] But you – it's no secret.

[00:20:35] You and Hannah especially spend a lot of quality time going to shark games.

[00:20:40] So you can relate to Shaki Pete.

[00:20:42] Yeah, it is.

[00:20:42] It's great.

[00:20:43] It's a great opportunity that Hannah and I have got time to spend together at games.

[00:20:48] And she's still pretty keen to make sure that our seats in the Monty Porter are renewed for next year.

[00:20:53] So we'll be back into it.

[00:20:55] And so, yeah, it's really fantastic.

[00:20:57] And, you know, it's one of the things is that you don't want to sort of pressure your kids into liking rugby league.

[00:21:02] And it's completely fine if they don't.

[00:21:05] Like my son's far more interested in whether system of a down are going to come to Australia and tour and stuff rather than how well the sharks are going.

[00:21:13] But, you know, it is a great opportunity to sort of spend some time with your kids and your family or friends.

[00:21:18] And I think that, you know, we often overlook just how much sort of joy and connectivity that the footy can bring to families and friends and things like that.

[00:21:30] So, yeah, very – I agree.

[00:21:34] Great quality time at Shark Park.

[00:21:35] Neil says,

[00:21:50] Sladden sent us some really nice words.

[00:21:52] And he also said,

[00:21:54] We're on our way.

[00:21:55] It's so close.

[00:21:56] What a team and what a coach we have.

[00:21:59] We have this.

[00:22:00] We will win soon.

[00:22:01] Up, up.

[00:22:02] That's from Sladden.

[00:22:03] So, some positivity there about where the NRL team is heading, which is awesome.

[00:22:10] OG listener RCB.

[00:22:12] Thanks us for the podcast.

[00:22:14] The show goes from strength to strength.

[00:22:15] Great end of the season for the Flag Boys.

[00:22:18] Unlucky not to steal it there.

[00:22:20] Incredible effort by the NRLW team.

[00:22:23] What a great team of great women to represent the club.

[00:22:28] They and us, the fans, shall be very proud of this year.

[00:22:31] He then says,

[00:22:33] I'll not lie.

[00:22:33] I'll never get around the Jets.

[00:22:36] Stop cosplaying as the Inner West.

[00:22:39] Spend some money and be the Cronulla Sharks.

[00:22:42] Win New South Wales Cup as Cronulla Sharks.

[00:22:45] I can understand that, RCB.

[00:22:48] I can understand that.

[00:22:50] Cam, would you prefer that they have a cup team of their own?

[00:22:55] Are you happy with the Newtown relationship?

[00:22:57] Have you got any feelings on this?

[00:22:59] I'm happy with the Jets being our club.

[00:23:04] You know, every, yeah.

[00:23:06] I sort of understand the, you know, RCB's kind of perspective here.

[00:23:10] But I guess that, like you, Sam, I guess we've spent a lot of time around the Inner West

[00:23:14] and live in the Inner West myself.

[00:23:15] And so maybe I'm biased and that I can get behind the Jets.

[00:23:20] And I think, to be honest, it's nice to have that connection to a bunch of Inner West hipsters as well.

[00:23:28] So, yeah.

[00:23:30] I don't mind it, but I'm completely, you know, I'm not going to argue against RCB.

[00:23:37] But I'm still, yeah.

[00:23:40] I'm still happy for the Jets to be affiliated with us.

[00:23:43] I think out of all the teams, we've made it perfectly clear that this is the one that we want if we can't have our own.

[00:23:50] So, you know, we could be the Central Coast Sharks or I'm just picking any random place away from Sydney.

[00:23:59] But, or the Blacktown Sharks and then, you know, I'm not knocking into these places.

[00:24:03] But as you said, Cam, you and I at least have a connection with Newtown.

[00:24:08] And there's a lot of history there as a rugby league team.

[00:24:10] And I think that's kind of cool for us to kind of latch on to.

[00:24:13] Yeah.

[00:24:14] If we can't be our own club, I'm kind of with RCB.

[00:24:17] I'd like to have our own club.

[00:24:18] But it's double the cost, et cetera, et cetera.

[00:24:22] I understand why we don't.

[00:24:24] But in the future, if you said to me, you could break away and have your own club, I'd probably lean that way.

[00:24:29] But we'll move on.

[00:24:31] He says, pre-Liam, you only get so many chances at this level.

[00:24:36] He said, please let it sting.

[00:24:39] He said, Sam, you said you couldn't fault the effort.

[00:24:42] But I'm going to say I think I can a little bit in this regard.

[00:24:46] Kale Iroh took 13 runs with a busted leg, which is brave.

[00:24:50] Only one forward made over 100 meters.

[00:24:53] What are they actually doing?

[00:24:55] When was someone going to step up?

[00:24:58] It's hard for anyone to get their game on in such a beaten engine room.

[00:25:02] Fanua Blake can't come quick enough.

[00:25:04] I think we need to make some room in the engine room, make some moves, shake the tree up.

[00:25:10] That's something that bugs me a lot, Cam.

[00:25:13] I think about it a lot.

[00:25:15] And I think about why our forwards can't be as dominating, especially in the stats category.

[00:25:23] Obviously, you want to win the battle on the field.

[00:25:25] But you look at the stats.

[00:25:26] And sometimes these guys are making like 40 and 50 meters.

[00:25:30] And I understand that our back five do heaps of work.

[00:25:34] I don't understand why we can't live in a perfect world where everyone kind of makes a whole bunch of meters.

[00:25:38] Is it just the caliber of props and middles we have, Cam?

[00:25:42] Or what's your opinion on that?

[00:25:43] Yeah, I don't know.

[00:25:44] This is something that I think about a lot as well, particularly when I'm at the games, because these are big guys.

[00:25:52] And maybe, Sam, I've probably mentioned this to you before.

[00:25:56] Maybe I'm simplifying this too much.

[00:25:59] But these are big guys.

[00:26:01] Why aren't they just firing up, running straight and hard?

[00:26:06] And they just don't seem to do it.

[00:26:08] And you can see these guys, whether it's a fitness thing or not, even when we do have the backs making the meters off the kick,

[00:26:18] these guys are standing around, often flat-footed, not even looking interested in taking a run.

[00:26:24] And I just don't understand why they're not, even if it's not that they're coached that way,

[00:26:32] or you almost think that they're being coached not to do this.

[00:26:35] But you look at guys like Tewks and Royce and all these guys, why aren't we seeing stronger, straight running up the middle?

[00:26:44] And I suppose, to a certain extent, you saw that.

[00:26:47] Again, you're sort of thinking about the Panthers, watching them in the grand final.

[00:26:50] And I guess I don't watch the Panthers a lot.

[00:26:54] Or being at the grand final, really, I didn't have any skin in the game.

[00:26:58] And so you were really watching and thinking, well, what's making Panthers so good here?

[00:27:03] And the forwards were great, but being put into positions to make those runs up the middle,

[00:27:09] where there's an opportunity to make meters and not just running into three guys in defense.

[00:27:13] And I think that that's probably something that we've got to be thinking about as well,

[00:27:19] is not just about the strength and speed of the run or the power of the run,

[00:27:23] but how they're being put into the positions to make those runs that make meters.

[00:27:29] But there's people more skilled in coaching and analyzing the game than me, Sam,

[00:27:33] that can probably answer that question.

[00:27:35] Well, it's a hard one to raise with the coach.

[00:27:37] It's like, well, why aren't your middles doing more?

[00:27:39] I mean, I'm sure he'd have a great scientific answer for me.

[00:27:43] But when you just, as you say, you're watching the game with your own eyes

[00:27:46] and we have some big, strong players, but sometimes they're not cracking that line.

[00:27:53] So we'll see what happens next year.

[00:27:55] We've got a big fella coming in who will do the job, which is great.

[00:27:58] And maybe he'll inspire the others.

[00:28:01] Kate says, thanks for another great year of pods.

[00:28:03] What are your thoughts on letting Sam Healy leave for the Warriors?

[00:28:07] Apologies if I've missed this.

[00:28:09] I think it's a big loss.

[00:28:10] Enjoy your offseason, but please keep podding.

[00:28:14] Cam Sam Healy, junior of the club, famous father,

[00:28:20] and an amazing hooker in his own right, Sam,

[00:28:24] has signed a three-year deal with the Warriors.

[00:28:27] I think it's a great loss given how good I think he's going to be.

[00:28:31] But I also think realistically,

[00:28:33] they've signed Blake Braley to a long contract

[00:28:36] and a pretty rich contract.

[00:28:38] And he's their guy.

[00:28:40] He doesn't miss a minute of football ever, touch wood.

[00:28:43] And it's probably, possibly cheaper to keep a guy like Beryl on the books

[00:28:49] to sort of sub for him in the rare occasion he can't play, Blake,

[00:28:53] rather than sign a guy like Healy,

[00:28:56] who's going to be pretty hot in the market at that younger level,

[00:29:00] and then just not have him play.

[00:29:02] So I understand why they didn't sign him.

[00:29:05] But have you seen much of him, Cam?

[00:29:07] Yeah, only a little bit.

[00:29:08] And I completely agree with everything you've said.

[00:29:10] He's got great potential.

[00:29:12] He's young.

[00:29:13] You know, we're going to say this time and time again

[00:29:16] is that we can't keep everyone.

[00:29:17] And sure, there might be a situation in the next couple of years

[00:29:21] where Blake goes down and Beryl's not available

[00:29:25] or that we need someone like, you know,

[00:29:28] we sort of might kind of rue the loss of Healy.

[00:29:32] But you can't kind of keep all these guys

[00:29:35] or put money into keeping these guys

[00:29:36] when there's better offers around,

[00:29:38] just on the off chance that one of your first two preference hookers

[00:29:42] or any other position is going to go down injured.

[00:29:44] So, you know, in a perfect world, you'd love to keep them.

[00:29:48] But we've got to be a bit practical here.

[00:29:50] And I suppose, you know, maybe in due time,

[00:29:54] he might end up back at the Sharks.

[00:29:56] Who knows what's going to happen?

[00:29:57] But I think let him go, develop and wish him the best.

[00:30:01] Yeah, I think if it was a year or two away from Blake retiring

[00:30:04] or moving on, then they would definitely keep him.

[00:30:08] But that's not realistic at the moment.

[00:30:10] Brett says, thanks for the pods this year.

[00:30:12] Loving the content.

[00:30:13] Appreciate the insight.

[00:30:15] Mixed emotions.

[00:30:16] Proud we made a prelim.

[00:30:18] Mostly held our own against the greatest NRL era team ever.

[00:30:23] On the other hand, I feel like we had an opportunity.

[00:30:26] If we could have iced more of our chances,

[00:30:28] I think we could have won.

[00:30:31] This year, we won a finals game, beat Melbourne and Melbourne with one half.

[00:30:36] Beat the Roosters in Magic Round.

[00:30:37] Smashed both our derbies and put the Brookvale curse to rest.

[00:30:42] Atkinson and Eero, fantastic first season.

[00:30:45] Tall Tom, tremendous try scoring.

[00:30:47] Tricky getting better, etc, etc.

[00:30:50] And remember, we couldn't beat a top eight side.

[00:30:53] This club and squad is in a great place.

[00:30:56] The challenge now is how do we make it elite?

[00:30:59] So some positivity there from Brett.

[00:31:02] And I think the way to make it elite is just to keep on stepping up.

[00:31:06] I mean, we saw some games this year, Cam, that were just diabolical losses.

[00:31:09] The West Tigers loss.

[00:31:12] Dolphins.

[00:31:13] Warriors.

[00:31:14] The Warriors.

[00:31:14] Very winnable games.

[00:31:15] And we just handed it over.

[00:31:17] So we probably would be elite this year if we'd won those games.

[00:31:21] Yeah, and I think it's important to keep in mind that, you know,

[00:31:24] the squad that we've got got us to that prelim.

[00:31:26] And I think that we all agree that the squad we got was probably enough

[00:31:31] to get us to the grand final had we cut out some of those errors.

[00:31:35] And had we won some of those games that we really shouldn't have lost,

[00:31:40] you know, we're even further up the ladder to finish the season.

[00:31:44] And so I think, yeah, I mean, I think I agree with Brett that it's a –

[00:31:49] actually, it's a really positive season.

[00:31:51] And a lot of those things that he's outlined are really great.

[00:31:55] I'm just disappointed, Sam, that I seem to witness some of the worst

[00:31:58] performances of the Sharks this year.

[00:32:00] So that's slightly solid by experience.

[00:32:03] But I think in retrospect, it's – yeah, it's certainly been a good season.

[00:32:07] And correct me if I'm wrong, you've been to all the Magic rounds,

[00:32:10] but this year you didn't go.

[00:32:11] Yeah, I didn't go to this Magic round mostly because of the pain

[00:32:14] of the one previously.

[00:32:15] But I think we – yeah, we managed to be at, you know,

[00:32:18] the Dolphins and Warriors games, of course,

[00:32:20] but also the Tigers game and the Eels game.

[00:32:22] So, you know, in terms of games that I was at,

[00:32:25] I think we probably ended up at about, you know, 60-40 win rates.

[00:32:32] But, yeah, I completely agree with Brett, though.

[00:32:34] I mean, I think some of those highlights that he's listed there

[00:32:37] are certainly something that, yeah,

[00:32:39] we should be pretty excited about and taking that, you know,

[00:32:43] that potential and that experience into next year.

[00:32:45] And Matt says, I was listening to the ABC replay of the 2016 Grand Final,

[00:32:50] which you uploaded.

[00:32:52] And so if you haven't heard that, listeners,

[00:32:54] we uploaded it on October 2, the entire ABC call of the game.

[00:32:58] And so far, their lawyers have not come after us, which is great.

[00:33:02] And Matt says, Matt Elliott commentating on the game,

[00:33:06] saying Jack Bird looks unlikely to return.

[00:33:09] And we all know he did.

[00:33:11] This isn't spoken about enough.

[00:33:12] One of the all-time great Grand Final performances

[00:33:15] should be in the same discussion as Kronk in 2018,

[00:33:19] except Bird was involved in everything,

[00:33:21] put his body on the line for the remaining 60 minutes,

[00:33:24] despite practically having one arm.

[00:33:25] I believe Bird's performance should be brought up as one of the all-time greats.

[00:33:30] And I agree with Matt that it's not spoken about enough.

[00:33:33] It's barely spoken about at all.

[00:33:35] And that's why I can never truly say a bad word about the guy.

[00:33:39] What he did in that Grand Final was unbelievable.

[00:33:42] And I'm glad that you noticed it, Matt.

[00:33:44] I'm glad that you raised it.

[00:33:45] I hope we all remember it.

[00:33:46] And in a couple of years' time, 10 years' anniversary,

[00:33:49] we'll talk about it in great detail.

[00:33:51] But I appreciate your listenership, Matt.

[00:33:55] And I'm glad you enjoyed that.

[00:33:57] Mitch says,

[00:33:58] The window is open for the squad, and I can't wait for next year.

[00:34:01] I feel like this team is ready to take the leap

[00:34:04] and be genuine premiership contenders.

[00:34:06] The guys who have hit that 100-game mark over the season

[00:34:10] and have a bit of success,

[00:34:11] they've tasted with premierships or Grand Finals

[00:34:13] in either Harold Matz, SG Ball, Flage and Newtown.

[00:34:17] These guys know what success looks like,

[00:34:19] and our time is coming.

[00:34:21] So, Cam, when I said to you there was a bit of positivity

[00:34:24] in these messages and mailbag,

[00:34:26] I wasn't just trying to get you away from Netflix

[00:34:29] to watch all the Menendez Brothers documentaries.

[00:34:30] I really wanted you to come on and talk about some positivity.

[00:34:34] So Mitch is talking about the window being open,

[00:34:36] and I agree, it's open.

[00:34:37] I was open this year, let's all admit it.

[00:34:39] But it's very much open even a little bit more for next year.

[00:34:43] Oh, I completely agree.

[00:34:44] And I think that, yeah, I think as Sharks fans,

[00:34:48] we can think a little bit too much about those poorer performances

[00:34:53] or mistakes and errors within the game.

[00:34:56] But there is a lot of other fans of a lot of other NRL clubs

[00:35:01] that would love for their team to have had the success

[00:35:04] and finishes as we've had in the last few years,

[00:35:07] let alone this year.

[00:35:08] And I think that we should kind of, you know,

[00:35:10] there's no reason to think that that momentum won't continue.

[00:35:14] So we should be really positive heading into the next couple of seasons.

[00:35:17] I mean, just on the Menendez Brothers,

[00:35:19] are you watching all that stuff that's popping up on Netflix?

[00:35:21] No, I haven't quite got onto that yet, Sam,

[00:35:25] but it's in the queue there.

[00:35:27] I did the, what would you call it, the miniseries,

[00:35:31] the kind of docudrama.

[00:35:33] And now I've started, I hate stopping and starting, Cam,

[00:35:38] but I've started the proper documentary was out this week.

[00:35:42] They must have bought into the estate or something.

[00:35:44] Something's happened and everywhere you look on Netflix,

[00:35:47] it's Menendez boys.

[00:35:49] But again, not making light of what went down,

[00:35:52] but a fascinating, endless story that goes on with those guys.

[00:35:57] Brendan says, thanks for the October 2 episode.

[00:36:00] I've watched Channel 9 version countless times,

[00:36:02] but I've never heard the ABC one.

[00:36:05] Not too ashamed there were tears again.

[00:36:08] Thanks, heaps.

[00:36:10] Love the podcast.

[00:36:11] Keep it up.

[00:36:11] That's from Brendan.

[00:36:12] Thank you.

[00:36:13] And then we have one from Lisa who says,

[00:36:16] if you had the power and money,

[00:36:18] how would you improve Shark Park?

[00:36:21] How would you rebuild it, so to speak?

[00:36:23] I have thoughts, but would like to hear yours.

[00:36:25] Thanks for the content.

[00:36:26] Been listening for years now.

[00:36:27] Wow.

[00:36:28] So thank you very much for those kind words.

[00:36:32] Cam, do you have any, I know you have some ideas on this.

[00:36:37] How would you improve Shark Park?

[00:36:39] I mean, one very straightforward thing would be

[00:36:43] to get some bigger and better screens for a start.

[00:36:47] That kind of can, that can kind of enjoy some of the experience there.

[00:36:50] But yeah, I don't know.

[00:36:52] I mean, the problem is, Sam, is that you start to think,

[00:36:55] well, obviously we need better facilities and that's a,

[00:36:58] you know, that's an obvious one.

[00:37:02] Better toilets and maybe some more food options and things like that.

[00:37:05] But that's a no-brainer.

[00:37:07] But when I think about trying to get more people into that area,

[00:37:11] you sort of think, well, there's got to be places to have more seats

[00:37:14] and, you know, where do you put them

[00:37:16] and remove some of the character of the family?

[00:37:19] You'd hate to lose a family hill, for instance.

[00:37:22] I'd hate to lose the mini hill in front of the Monty Porter.

[00:37:25] That's a, you know, that's a great part of Shark Park.

[00:37:29] So, you know, without starting to get out the blueprints

[00:37:33] and redesign the entire stadium, you know,

[00:37:38] buy us a couple more screens.

[00:37:39] That would be great.

[00:37:41] But what do you think, what's your first thought about,

[00:37:44] you know, a realistic change to Shark Park?

[00:37:46] Well, I've got the ball in my hand

[00:37:47] and I'm going to kick it a bit further, Cam.

[00:37:49] I'm visualising extra seating on both sides.

[00:37:54] So pretty much wherever there's space, I want seats.

[00:37:58] And I'm guessing stands of some sort.

[00:38:00] So I'm extending the ET both ways.

[00:38:03] And I'm going to put in, I don't know, a couple thousand people maybe.

[00:38:07] Is that too much of a stretch?

[00:38:08] I don't know how many are putting in.

[00:38:09] 500, whatever it is.

[00:38:10] I'm extending it both ways.

[00:38:13] And then on the other side, however feasible,

[00:38:16] and it's a bit of a shorter space there

[00:38:19] because of what's going on with the hotel and the club and everything,

[00:38:21] I'm just putting seats on either side of the Pete Burns,

[00:38:24] just wherever it is.

[00:38:25] Like if you can make it above the concourse,

[00:38:27] whatever you can do, if you can add 10 more seats,

[00:38:29] I'm doing it.

[00:38:30] I'm leaving the hill as is.

[00:38:34] And I think I'm going to put, unfortunately for you, Cam,

[00:38:37] some concourse seats behind the posts in front of where you sit in front of the Monty,

[00:38:43] even though it's not that big a space.

[00:38:44] I don't know how I'm going to have my emergency fire escape footpath behind that

[00:38:49] in between you and the seats.

[00:38:51] But I'm just thinking seats, seats, seats, seats, seats.

[00:38:54] That's what I'm doing.

[00:38:55] Yeah.

[00:38:55] What more can you do?

[00:38:56] I mean, I, you know, it is funny.

[00:39:00] We were, we were sort of looking at the,

[00:39:03] when we were down watching the girls in that,

[00:39:05] that training session before the grand final,

[00:39:07] we were sort of sitting in the lower sort of part of the ET

[00:39:10] and looking around on the other side of the field.

[00:39:12] And it's having just been at Allianz the week before,

[00:39:16] it is, it is strange to look around that field and say, look,

[00:39:19] there's only like eight,

[00:39:20] eight or 10 rows of seats all around the,

[00:39:23] on the concourse around the ground.

[00:39:24] Like, you know, and I, I, but, but again, as I said, you,

[00:39:30] I agree with you is that you can start, you know,

[00:39:34] putting in seats and extending grandstands and things like that.

[00:39:38] But the practicalities of, of how that works,

[00:39:41] I really don't know.

[00:39:44] So one of the, now this is maybe a topic for,

[00:39:48] for another podcast in the future, Sam,

[00:39:50] but the having had the chance to go to New York earlier this,

[00:39:54] this year and go to Yankee stadium and hear the story about how they

[00:39:58] basically rebuilt the stadium next door to it.

[00:40:00] And I, I kind of, every now and again, I,

[00:40:03] when I'm walking past,

[00:40:05] I look at that golf course across the road and think,

[00:40:07] why don't we just build a new stadium over there and sell off shark park

[00:40:10] for, for housing.

[00:40:11] But I know that would be,

[00:40:14] that'll get the pitchforks out and running.

[00:40:16] That's not the worst idea I've ever heard, Cam.

[00:40:18] I don't even know if I've ever heard that one, to be honest.

[00:40:21] I'm sure others have heard it, but I don't, I don't mind that.

[00:40:23] I don't know where you come up with the,

[00:40:25] I guess you're selling off the stadium to make the money.

[00:40:27] And yeah.

[00:40:27] I'm not proposing this, Sam, but you know,

[00:40:30] you sell off that land, which is shark park now.

[00:40:34] And you know, with the top up from somebody, you're,

[00:40:37] you're,

[00:40:37] you're buying part of the golf course and building a stadium across the

[00:40:41] road, fresh and, you know,

[00:40:43] how big a stadium you want to build and stuff like that.

[00:40:45] But if you could build something that was even a half the size of

[00:40:49] Allianz or something like that,

[00:40:50] that had great capacity,

[00:40:51] then I don't know if I would be completely against that as much as I do

[00:40:54] love shark park.

[00:40:55] Who's going to break it to the golfers that they're going to be on a three

[00:40:59] par nine course?

[00:41:00] Well, there's only about a,

[00:41:01] only about 20 people use the course, don't they?

[00:41:03] And they're all old blokes.

[00:41:04] So we,

[00:41:04] we'd be right.

[00:41:05] Oh boy.

[00:41:05] Golfers aren't a big guy.

[00:41:07] That,

[00:41:08] that may be your most controversial moment on shark cast yet,

[00:41:12] Cam.

[00:41:13] Sorry,

[00:41:13] golfers.

[00:41:14] Sorry,

[00:41:14] golfers.

[00:41:15] Sorry,

[00:41:15] old dudes on the golf course you mean?

[00:41:19] Well,

[00:41:19] how many people you see walking around there?

[00:41:21] You know,

[00:41:21] maybe a few on a Saturday or Sunday morning.

[00:41:23] We had a nice bit of correspondence from,

[00:41:25] from Elo and he said,

[00:41:27] I wanted to give a shout out to the Dodd family at the NRLW prelim.

[00:41:33] His young son,

[00:41:35] Jasper,

[00:41:35] who I've met is a lovely young man.

[00:41:37] He and Elo were at the game and they ran into Quincy Dodd's parents and

[00:41:43] uncle.

[00:41:43] And they offered to get Jasper at full time to meet some of the players.

[00:41:48] And five minutes before full time,

[00:41:50] they came and found them,

[00:41:51] took young Jasper down to where they were sitting and they met Quincy and the

[00:41:56] other players.

[00:41:57] Quincy also took him onto the field to meet his favorite player,

[00:42:02] Tiana.

[00:42:03] And they just wanted to pass on a great experience and the amazing people we

[00:42:07] have at our club.

[00:42:09] And also said,

[00:42:10] thanks to all the shark casts hosts for a great year of podcasting.

[00:42:15] Catch up in Vegas.

[00:42:17] Cheers.

[00:42:18] Yeah.

[00:42:18] We'll catch up in Vegas for sure,

[00:42:19] my man.

[00:42:20] That's a nice story,

[00:42:21] Cam.

[00:42:21] And you've already said that,

[00:42:23] how great and friendly they were at the meet and greet the other Thursday.

[00:42:28] Yeah,

[00:42:29] definitely.

[00:42:30] and yeah,

[00:42:31] just to echo those comments about Quincy and also Tiana,

[00:42:35] both spend a lot of time with the,

[00:42:38] with the young fans at that open training session and were,

[00:42:41] you know,

[00:42:41] like really open and friendly and talkative and interested in,

[00:42:45] in,

[00:42:45] in the fans as well.

[00:42:47] And so it wasn't just a case of kind of shaking hands and signing

[00:42:51] autographs.

[00:42:51] They were having a chat to everyone.

[00:42:53] And so,

[00:42:54] yeah,

[00:42:54] a hundred percent really,

[00:42:55] really classy team and looking forward to next year with them.

[00:42:59] Our friend Lush in Melbourne says,

[00:43:00] I'm not mad.

[00:43:01] I'm not even disappointed.

[00:43:02] I'm proud.

[00:43:03] And I can't wait for next year.

[00:43:05] This team with the addition of AFB is going to be camped in the top four

[00:43:10] for years to come.

[00:43:11] Up,

[00:43:12] up.

[00:43:12] I like that.

[00:43:13] And I agree with that.

[00:43:14] Uh,

[00:43:14] Brad says short and sweet.

[00:43:17] I'm proud as punch.

[00:43:18] We stuck with them for 65 minutes.

[00:43:21] See you in Vegas.

[00:43:22] We got a big year coming up.

[00:43:24] So some more people heading to Vegas.

[00:43:26] See you there,

[00:43:26] Brad.

[00:43:27] Uh,

[00:43:28] Brendan says I'm over the Nico bashing from the so-called fans.

[00:43:31] It's a team sport,

[00:43:33] not a one man band.

[00:43:35] Uh,

[00:43:35] just on that cam,

[00:43:36] how do you sit with Nico and his form and,

[00:43:39] uh,

[00:43:40] what your expectations are?

[00:43:42] What,

[00:43:43] what's,

[00:43:43] what's going on with you and you and Nico?

[00:43:45] Yeah,

[00:43:46] I'm looking forward to seeing how he starts 2025.

[00:43:49] I think it's,

[00:43:50] um,

[00:43:50] he had a really,

[00:43:52] he was in a really tough position to come back from that injury at the

[00:43:55] back end of the season.

[00:43:56] Um,

[00:43:57] I don't think the coaching staff could deny him coming back into the team.

[00:44:02] Um,

[00:44:03] I've been pretty open in saying I sort of,

[00:44:06] you know,

[00:44:07] not that I wish Nico any ill will,

[00:44:09] but,

[00:44:09] um,

[00:44:10] I would have kind of be interested to see how the season had played out,

[00:44:14] had at Coe and tricky,

[00:44:16] um,

[00:44:16] remained in the halves.

[00:44:18] But I,

[00:44:18] I just think it was an awkward end to the year and,

[00:44:22] you know,

[00:44:22] everything resets now and let's look to see how they come out next season.

[00:44:26] And then,

[00:44:27] you know,

[00:44:27] I,

[00:44:27] I think I'm,

[00:44:28] I'm holding off judgment for another,

[00:44:30] um,

[00:44:31] you know,

[00:44:31] half dozen rounds into the new year.

[00:44:33] Uh,

[00:44:34] Brendan also says,

[00:44:34] if I have to hear one more person say about the amount of Sharks fans at the

[00:44:40] prelim,

[00:44:41] not all of us can afford to go to every game.

[00:44:43] I,

[00:44:44] for one,

[00:44:44] I'm not bringing my little kids out to watch a game at seven 50 at night.

[00:44:47] If it was more family friendly time,

[00:44:50] I would probably go.

[00:44:51] And I,

[00:44:51] I can't fault that cam.

[00:44:53] I mean,

[00:44:54] we were both out there and there were a lot of kids out there.

[00:44:56] Um,

[00:44:57] I'll say this,

[00:44:58] any kid sitting near me learned about 24 new words that I'd never heard

[00:45:02] before.

[00:45:03] And they weren't really pleasant ones.

[00:45:05] And that's from both sets of fans.

[00:45:06] I'm not,

[00:45:07] I was in a bay that had both sets of fans often after a finals game.

[00:45:10] You'll hear me talk a little bit negatively about the crowd.

[00:45:12] Cause that's usually my experience.

[00:45:14] Now the Cowboys game the other week was a bit different cause you know,

[00:45:18] it was a very fun kind of experience.

[00:45:20] And as most of you know,

[00:45:22] I was in the front row when I was away from kind of everyone.

[00:45:24] And that was,

[00:45:25] that was my night.

[00:45:26] But I was reminded of the,

[00:45:29] uh,

[00:45:29] the level of intoxication,

[00:45:32] which I don't have a problem with if you can handle it,

[00:45:34] but a lot of booze.

[00:45:36] And then the emotion of do or die football.

[00:45:39] It's an extreme mix.

[00:45:40] And I'm sure that people listening might go,

[00:45:42] Oh,

[00:45:43] don't be such a soft touch or whatever,

[00:45:45] but I'm actually not a soft touch.

[00:45:47] And I know plenty of swear words,

[00:45:49] but even I was just,

[00:45:50] I was about to turn around and say to the guy behind me,

[00:45:52] is there a chance you could get a whole sentence out with the F and the C word?

[00:45:56] But I understand Brendan,

[00:45:58] what he's saying.

[00:45:58] And especially money wise,

[00:46:00] I mean,

[00:46:01] these events are not cheap,

[00:46:02] so I can relate to that.

[00:46:05] I respect that.

[00:46:06] Not everyone can get out there.

[00:46:07] And obviously when you can,

[00:46:09] you make the most of it.

[00:46:10] Obviously Sunday afternoon games are perfect down at shark park,

[00:46:13] but,

[00:46:13] uh,

[00:46:14] yeah,

[00:46:15] there was some,

[00:46:15] there were some wild scenes of that game camp.

[00:46:17] Yeah,

[00:46:18] there were.

[00:46:18] And,

[00:46:18] and this is the same around where we were as well.

[00:46:21] And I think,

[00:46:22] you know,

[00:46:23] there,

[00:46:23] there's actually a bit of discussion,

[00:46:25] um,

[00:46:26] amongst the crowd.

[00:46:27] There were a couple of groups that were kind of echoing your experience,

[00:46:32] I suppose.

[00:46:32] And a couple of people were kind of,

[00:46:34] um,

[00:46:35] you know,

[00:46:35] throwing a bit of stink eyes to the guys to kind of calm down a little bit.

[00:46:38] But,

[00:46:39] um,

[00:46:40] so I guess that's something that,

[00:46:42] uh,

[00:46:42] yeah,

[00:46:43] you're right.

[00:46:43] It's probably something that's more unique to those sort of finals games than a

[00:46:47] shark park.

[00:46:47] Although,

[00:46:48] you know,

[00:46:48] I've heard plenty of similar stuff at shark park.

[00:46:51] I guess I do.

[00:46:52] I'm sympathetic.

[00:46:52] I'm sympathetic both to the cost,

[00:46:55] but also the late night,

[00:46:57] like we didn't get,

[00:46:58] it was even with public transport and admittedly there's the,

[00:47:02] the swans issues were on,

[00:47:03] but it took us longer to get home.

[00:47:06] You know,

[00:47:06] we just live in sort of Dremoy and,

[00:47:08] but it took us longer to get home from Allianz than it does normally to get

[00:47:11] home from shark park.

[00:47:12] And even at the grand final the other night,

[00:47:15] like,

[00:47:16] again,

[00:47:16] we had the cheapest seats that you could get,

[00:47:18] but that's a,

[00:47:19] it's a big hike up the stadium,

[00:47:21] but also to get out of those particular locations with younger kids or even

[00:47:26] older fans as well.

[00:47:28] It's a bit of a struggle.

[00:47:29] And so,

[00:47:29] um,

[00:47:30] you know,

[00:47:30] doing that really late at night,

[00:47:32] I'm,

[00:47:32] I'm completely sympathetic to that.

[00:47:34] And,

[00:47:35] you know,

[00:47:35] earlier in the podcast,

[00:47:36] I mentioned that I was surprised about the,

[00:47:38] um,

[00:47:38] the crowd and that wasn't necessarily taking a swing at sharks fans,

[00:47:41] but just generally,

[00:47:43] um,

[00:47:43] um,

[00:47:44] I was really expecting there to be many more people at that game and whether

[00:47:50] or not the crowd was down because everybody kind of expected the Panthers

[00:47:53] to run away with it convincingly,

[00:47:55] you know,

[00:47:55] that the game probably would have been much better atmosphere had it been at,

[00:47:58] at combat.

[00:47:59] Yeah.

[00:48:00] Yeah.

[00:48:00] Thanks for being in touch,

[00:48:02] Brendan.

[00:48:02] Appreciate you.

[00:48:03] Hopefully,

[00:48:03] hopefully we can get that grand final,

[00:48:04] uh,

[00:48:05] back to the afternoon one,

[00:48:06] one day in the coming future.

[00:48:09] I know that,

[00:48:09] uh,

[00:48:10] the likes of Buzz Royalfield are pushing for it every year.

[00:48:12] So hopefully,

[00:48:13] uh,

[00:48:14] sanity will prevail.

[00:48:15] And I mean,

[00:48:15] I love nighttime more than anyone,

[00:48:17] but I think I've come around to just those afternoon games where it's at.

[00:48:22] Just said,

[00:48:22] I was at the prelim.

[00:48:23] The team can hold their heads high.

[00:48:26] I got the vibe that a lot of Penrith fans thought the game would be a walk in the

[00:48:29] park,

[00:48:29] but we gave them a run for their money and in it up until the 65th minute.

[00:48:34] Nico will unfairly cop the blame,

[00:48:36] but it was our errors that broke us in the end.

[00:48:39] Any news on whether Kofusi will be re-signed?

[00:48:42] Uh,

[00:48:43] I don't have anything official for you,

[00:48:45] Juz,

[00:48:46] but I would be stunned if he doesn't re-sign.

[00:48:51] And if the club didn't want him to re-sign,

[00:48:53] I'm pretty sure it'll happen.

[00:48:55] And I hope it does.

[00:48:56] I think he's a really good,

[00:48:58] uh,

[00:48:59] value at what we pay him.

[00:49:01] And also I think the upside to him is he's only going to get better each year,

[00:49:05] which I think we're seeing.

[00:49:06] He's not particularly old for a prop in first grade.

[00:49:09] That's played in the grand final and played probably a hundred games or whatever.

[00:49:12] So,

[00:49:13] watch this space on that one.

[00:49:16] Jay said,

[00:49:17] I thought they gave their all for three quarters of the prelim handling errors cost us.

[00:49:21] Had we not done that,

[00:49:23] I believe he would have won the game.

[00:49:25] Next year,

[00:49:26] I'd be starting with Sam Stonestreet and Jesse Colquhoun as part of the bench along with,

[00:49:33] so sorry,

[00:49:33] I think he's going to start with Sam Stonestreet.

[00:49:36] And then on the bench,

[00:49:37] he would have Jesse Colquhoun with Dykes or Ison to start at the back.

[00:49:43] Kennedy isn't going to win us a premiership.

[00:49:45] We need a fast and meter eating fullback.

[00:49:47] So,

[00:49:48] Stonestreet to start for Jay and he wants either Dykes or Ison at fullback.

[00:49:54] Okay,

[00:49:54] we'll see what happens there.

[00:49:56] I'm not convinced,

[00:49:57] Cam,

[00:49:57] that Cade Dykes is going to be a fullback.

[00:50:00] I'm not either.

[00:50:01] And I'm also not necessarily convinced that Ison,

[00:50:06] at least in 2025,

[00:50:07] is the one to start in place of Kennedy.

[00:50:09] I guess we've talked about this a little bit already.

[00:50:12] And I think that Kennedy brings something else to the team that probably isn't,

[00:50:16] you know,

[00:50:16] it's not in the highlight reels.

[00:50:17] It's not in the,

[00:50:19] you know,

[00:50:21] perhaps not as much in the attacking aspects of the game,

[00:50:25] but I think that his strengths may not necessarily be replicated in either Dykes or Ison at the moment.

[00:50:35] So,

[00:50:37] yeah,

[00:50:38] I'm still all in on Kennedy to start next year,

[00:50:41] but certainly open to what happens in due time with Dykes,

[00:50:47] Ison or anybody else coming through.

[00:50:49] I mean,

[00:50:49] the interesting thing is,

[00:50:51] I believe I'm correct in saying that he's off contract soon.

[00:50:54] Yeah.

[00:50:55] Will Kennedy.

[00:50:55] I think they can talk to him from November one.

[00:50:59] So he's ours next year for one year.

[00:51:01] A lot of that is on Ison's shoulders.

[00:51:03] Um,

[00:51:04] because if he can demonstrate that his sort of defense and security at the back is,

[00:51:11] um,

[00:51:12] matching his sort of attacking prowess,

[00:51:15] well,

[00:51:15] I think he's going to be a serious threat to,

[00:51:17] to well beyond next year.

[00:51:19] Well,

[00:51:20] I guess what I'm thinking,

[00:51:21] Cam is,

[00:51:22] will the sharks try and offer,

[00:51:24] will a slightly shorter contract?

[00:51:27] Usually they'd sign a three year deal for security.

[00:51:30] That's what the player and the management would want.

[00:51:33] Maybe the club will say to him,

[00:51:36] here's two year deal with the option for three.

[00:51:39] Maybe another club shows interest in him.

[00:51:42] I think it's going to be pretty clear come November one and around that time

[00:51:47] where the club stands with all this stuff.

[00:51:49] So we might know before kickoff next year,

[00:51:51] actually where we're headed because there are a bunch of guys off contract

[00:51:57] and some of them are pretty high profile.

[00:51:59] So they'll need to get their act together there to,

[00:52:03] to get their priority straight.

[00:52:04] Yeah.

[00:52:05] And I,

[00:52:05] and I've guessed too,

[00:52:06] the other thing is that Jay raises a good point is that unfortunately,

[00:52:10] um,

[00:52:10] um,

[00:52:11] Jesse Colacune sort of slips from the discussion because of the problems he's

[00:52:14] had with injuries,

[00:52:14] but he's a really good player.

[00:52:16] Like I'm,

[00:52:17] I'm going to be really excited for him to have,

[00:52:20] um,

[00:52:20] hopefully he comes back at full strength,

[00:52:22] but,

[00:52:22] um,

[00:52:23] probably having that first full season with a full preseason into 2026 will be

[00:52:28] really exciting.

[00:52:29] I'm really,

[00:52:30] um,

[00:52:31] yeah,

[00:52:31] I really hope the best for Jesse.

[00:52:33] Yeah.

[00:52:33] Yeah,

[00:52:34] absolutely.

[00:52:34] He,

[00:52:34] he could be anything,

[00:52:35] but he's just got to,

[00:52:37] uh,

[00:52:37] not suffer those injuries,

[00:52:38] which,

[00:52:39] which they're,

[00:52:40] freak incidents.

[00:52:41] So we wish him all the best.

[00:52:43] Obviously he would be definitely pushing for our 17 when fully fit.

[00:52:49] Uh,

[00:52:49] Lee says,

[00:52:49] thanks for the great year.

[00:52:52] Love what you do,

[00:52:54] particularly this year with the Monday morning coffee chat with Kieran

[00:52:57] Fraser.

[00:52:58] So thank you for that,

[00:52:59] Lee.

[00:52:59] He said,

[00:52:59] I think we should start a GoFundMe for the shark cast Christmas party.

[00:53:03] Not your thing,

[00:53:05] Sam,

[00:53:05] but well deserved.

[00:53:07] Uh,

[00:53:07] appreciate all that.

[00:53:08] I don't quite know what that means in the sense of the GoFundMe thing,

[00:53:12] but as in why we need the GoFundMe,

[00:53:15] we could just like book a room and people can hang out.

[00:53:18] And I did reply to Lee.

[00:53:19] And I said,

[00:53:20] the only issue with that is the availability of all the shark casters at that time of year.

[00:53:25] Cam,

[00:53:25] you know,

[00:53:25] firsthand how hard it is for all of us to get together in the one room.

[00:53:29] It's pretty rare to do our Christmas episode with all of us there,

[00:53:33] but we can certainly try and do something like that and get the listeners along and have a beverage.

[00:53:41] How good would it be to organize a Christmas party on some sort of cruise?

[00:53:44] Sione Katoa could be the special guest and he could talk about fishing and stuff.

[00:53:49] You know,

[00:53:49] that'd be fantastic.

[00:53:50] Well,

[00:53:50] don't stop there.

[00:53:51] You could have ET on there and we could have a fishing expedition and,

[00:53:54] uh,

[00:53:55] we could get Britain Nicker to be the DJ.

[00:53:58] I don't know.

[00:53:59] We could,

[00:53:59] we could make something happen.

[00:54:00] And we launch off from the Royal Motor Yacht Club.

[00:54:03] Look,

[00:54:04] Sam,

[00:54:04] the party,

[00:54:05] the party,

[00:54:06] the script is all written.

[00:54:07] It's,

[00:54:08] we'll,

[00:54:08] we'll,

[00:54:09] we'll workshop this offline.

[00:54:10] And I'm not sure about the logistics,

[00:54:11] but somehow we end up on the swamps of the Botany Bay and we make our way to the Golden Bay restaurant.

[00:54:19] Perfect.

[00:54:20] But in all seriousness,

[00:54:21] Lee,

[00:54:21] uh,

[00:54:21] it's something we've penciled in and we'll see what happens.

[00:54:24] Certainly no guarantees.

[00:54:25] Uh,

[00:54:26] as for the sharks,

[00:54:26] you say you're super proud all year.

[00:54:28] You wanted to make the prelim to,

[00:54:30] set us up for next year.

[00:54:31] A big 20,

[00:54:32] 25 is coming.

[00:54:34] So thanks for that Lee.

[00:54:34] And I really appreciate your words.

[00:54:36] Uh,

[00:54:37] Brent says we need a better fullback.

[00:54:38] So this thing is starting to grow cam.

[00:54:40] He says Kennedy isn't a game breaker.

[00:54:43] That's what's missing.

[00:54:45] I want to see excitement from the back.

[00:54:47] Someone who can put the fans on their feet each time they touch the ball.

[00:54:52] Ooh,

[00:54:52] that reminds me of a young man named Valentine.

[00:54:55] Cam,

[00:54:56] you may recall his,

[00:54:57] uh,

[00:54:57] his good times at the sharks.

[00:54:59] Overall,

[00:55:00] I was happy with the effort,

[00:55:01] but handling cost us what should have been a win.

[00:55:04] Had we held the ball?

[00:55:05] We win that game.

[00:55:07] I'm with you,

[00:55:07] Brent.

[00:55:08] I think we win that game too.

[00:55:10] Uh,

[00:55:10] on the fullback situation,

[00:55:11] we've covered that a little bit and we'll see what happens there.

[00:55:15] You know,

[00:55:15] this comes back to the same issue though,

[00:55:17] is that we didn't lose that prelim because Kennedy missed attacking opportunities or to be a game breaker.

[00:55:25] Maybe,

[00:55:25] maybe if he was,

[00:55:27] he could have conjured something up out of nothing,

[00:55:29] but we lost that game because we couldn't hold the ball.

[00:55:32] And so I,

[00:55:34] I,

[00:55:35] I keep coming back to this feeling that,

[00:55:37] you know,

[00:55:38] the squad that we've got has great potential.

[00:55:41] It's about their discipline and patience and whatever,

[00:55:45] whatever else it is that contributes to these,

[00:55:48] um,

[00:55:48] um,

[00:55:49] you know,

[00:55:50] error riddle,

[00:55:51] riddle games that they're prone to.

[00:55:52] Yeah.

[00:55:52] I'm with you,

[00:55:53] Cam.

[00:55:53] And I think adding Fenua Blake is unbelievably genius.

[00:55:57] And when he became available,

[00:55:59] we all went,

[00:55:59] Oh,

[00:55:59] we need one of those guys.

[00:56:01] And then we got him.

[00:56:02] We'll see what happens with him,

[00:56:03] but you,

[00:56:04] you have to have the highest of expectations for him and for that pack,

[00:56:08] given what he can do,

[00:56:09] even as he's getting into his more senior part of his career,

[00:56:13] but he's still got some great years ahead of him.

[00:56:15] And I like that idea,

[00:56:17] Cam.

[00:56:17] We've got what we've got.

[00:56:18] We're one game away.

[00:56:19] And then you bring in this guy.

[00:56:21] I mean,

[00:56:22] if he's playing against the Panthers,

[00:56:23] I mean,

[00:56:23] at least we're making some meters.

[00:56:25] At least we're firing up a little bit and who knows,

[00:56:28] maybe we hold the ball.

[00:56:29] I don't know,

[00:56:29] but I'm with you.

[00:56:31] I'm not blowing up the system.

[00:56:32] I'm adding to a pretty good,

[00:56:36] competent team.

[00:56:38] And as we keep saying,

[00:56:40] if we don't lose that game against the Warriors,

[00:56:43] if we make that tackle on the hammer,

[00:56:45] if we don't have such a rubbish game at Leichhardt Oval,

[00:56:51] we get the week off.

[00:56:53] We're not playing the Panthers on six,

[00:56:56] seven day turnaround.

[00:56:57] We've got two weeks off to get ready for a prelim.

[00:56:59] We're playing it wherever we want,

[00:57:01] so to speak in the city.

[00:57:03] And it's a different ball game.

[00:57:04] So I'm with you.

[00:57:05] I'm not blowing up the system at all.

[00:57:07] Darby has been in touch.

[00:57:09] Darby said,

[00:57:10] want to thank you for all the podcasts.

[00:57:11] I've been listening since the live Facebook days.

[00:57:15] Good seeing you also at the games.

[00:57:16] And thanks for taking time out for a chat,

[00:57:19] listening to my dribble.

[00:57:21] Darby,

[00:57:22] I've heard a lot of dribble about rugby league in my lifetime,

[00:57:25] and you're not one of those people.

[00:57:26] So it's my pleasure to hang out with you whenever I see you.

[00:57:31] You're a good man.

[00:57:31] I appreciate your support.

[00:57:32] I saw Darby actually before the prelim cam,

[00:57:36] and that was really cool.

[00:57:37] The live Facebook days.

[00:57:39] I think that's when Newman and I used to go live from the club,

[00:57:43] and we'd do Tuesday nights.

[00:57:45] We'd do post-game, pre-game, that kind of stuff.

[00:57:47] So that was a fun time.

[00:57:48] So Darby's a rusted-on listener,

[00:57:50] and we appreciate that.

[00:57:51] He says,

[00:57:51] as a fan,

[00:57:52] we almost made it,

[00:57:53] and I have to be happy about that.

[00:57:54] Not happy about the errors, etc.,

[00:57:56] but things are looking positive for next year.

[00:57:58] I'd like to see our halves partnering

[00:58:00] go back to the way it was at the beginning of the year

[00:58:03] when they played the Indigenous All-Stars

[00:58:05] in the start of the season.

[00:58:06] Tricky has been epic,

[00:58:08] but it seems like he's doing too much now,

[00:58:10] and Nico is flapping in the breeze.

[00:58:12] I do believe it has a lot to do with injury.

[00:58:15] Only weeks ago,

[00:58:16] I saw Nico getting the groceries,

[00:58:17] and he was on crutches,

[00:58:19] and couldn't carry his shopping.

[00:58:20] So a mammoth effort to even walk out onto the field.

[00:58:23] And I think it's a great point, Cam.

[00:58:25] I think that...

[00:58:26] I like that description of Nico flapping in the breeze.

[00:58:29] It seemed like...

[00:58:30] I'm not being awful here.

[00:58:31] It seemed like that's what he was doing

[00:58:33] in the Panthers game,

[00:58:34] at the very least.

[00:58:36] Yeah, and I think that that comes down to

[00:58:38] working out how to play with Tricky.

[00:58:40] And so, you know,

[00:58:42] he came back from injury.

[00:58:45] He kind of did the right thing, in a way,

[00:58:47] in taking a step back,

[00:58:48] because there's no doubt that, you know,

[00:58:51] Tricky was sensational in that game

[00:58:52] against the Cowboys,

[00:58:53] and so you have to give Nico credit

[00:58:55] for giving Tricky the space to do that.

[00:59:00] And I just...

[00:59:02] I think we probably expected too much from him

[00:59:04] in those last few weeks.

[00:59:06] And, I mean,

[00:59:08] we've seen other teams work with two great halves,

[00:59:12] and I think it's about the coaching staff

[00:59:15] and those two guys working out

[00:59:17] how they're going to best play together.

[00:59:18] And if it means that Nico's taking something of a backseat

[00:59:23] to Tricky,

[00:59:24] I mean, it seems weird

[00:59:26] because of the disparity of the salaries

[00:59:27] that they're on.

[00:59:29] But if you think about it

[00:59:30] from the team's performances,

[00:59:31] well, you know,

[00:59:33] it makes sense that, you know,

[00:59:36] someone has to find out

[00:59:38] the best place for them in the team

[00:59:40] and their role,

[00:59:41] and maybe that's something that they're in the offseason

[00:59:43] that they'll be working out.

[00:59:44] Yeah, and at this point,

[00:59:45] I don't really mind who has more of a role in the team.

[00:59:50] I think that Tricky's going to get his payday

[00:59:52] no matter what.

[00:59:53] Nico's earned what he's on.

[00:59:55] For me, it's just about both of them doing a job,

[00:59:58] and we've seen that when they're at their best.

[00:59:59] They do a great job.

[01:00:00] Now, it's all very well for Tricky

[01:00:02] to be man of the match

[01:00:03] and have a 10 out of 10 game,

[01:00:05] which he did against the Cowboys.

[01:00:06] But what do you think Penrith are going to do

[01:00:08] in the next week?

[01:00:08] They've had two weeks to study him.

[01:00:10] It's all in on him.

[01:00:11] They know it's all in on him.

[01:00:13] That was where you needed your Nico trick shots,

[01:00:16] et cetera, et cetera.

[01:00:17] That's why we need to get this right

[01:00:19] in the offseason, as you say,

[01:00:20] with the coaching staff and the two guys.

[01:00:23] And they should absolutely play

[01:00:25] a more even-keeled game.

[01:00:27] Let Trindle run the show if that's what they want,

[01:00:30] but you can't let Nico flap in the breeze either.

[01:00:35] Totally agree.

[01:00:35] Now, Darby also says,

[01:00:37] lastly and most importantly,

[01:00:38] bring back Motley Crue as the run-out song.

[01:00:41] Nelly is rubbish.

[01:00:43] The dynamics of the song don't work acoustically

[01:00:45] in these stadiums and doesn't have the same G up.

[01:00:48] It's hard to make out what the song is.

[01:00:50] Storm have Thunderstruck,

[01:00:52] and you heard the other night Hell's Bells

[01:00:53] for the Panthers, which was sick,

[01:00:55] and the perfect G up.

[01:00:57] I'm opening a can of worms again,

[01:01:00] but Nelly is meh.

[01:01:01] If I had my choice over Motley Crue or Nelly,

[01:01:04] I'm going to go Motley Crue.

[01:01:06] But I think we found the perfect song, Cam,

[01:01:08] and I think we know what it is.

[01:01:09] It's just a matter of getting that into the pregame experience,

[01:01:14] because at the moment,

[01:01:15] it's a postgame experience for the players.

[01:01:18] But I think even though the occasional time

[01:01:22] when you do back down and people will make fun of it,

[01:01:25] I think we have the answer.

[01:01:26] I think it's Tom Petty.

[01:01:27] I think I'm going to have to push even harder this year

[01:01:29] to get that one across the line,

[01:01:31] but I think we've got to go with it.

[01:01:33] I think now that everyone knows the secret's out,

[01:01:36] the players like the Tom Petty song,

[01:01:38] I think now it's okay for the world to also experience.

[01:01:43] I'll write a letter of support for you, Sam.

[01:01:45] I appreciate that.

[01:01:45] Although I do agree with Darby, though.

[01:01:48] We have been missing Motley Crue.

[01:01:50] Sure, sure.

[01:01:51] I'll leave it up to your role as lobbyist for the Sharks

[01:01:55] to make that change.

[01:01:57] That's what I am.

[01:01:58] I'm a lobbyist.

[01:01:59] Stacey said,

[01:02:00] what is your favourite dish at Golden Bay?

[01:02:04] And I think she's been listening to some of our episodes

[01:02:06] where we've been name-dropping being at the restaurant.

[01:02:09] Now, Cam, you're not a stranger to Golden Bay.

[01:02:10] I know this for a fact.

[01:02:11] I'm going to let you lead here.

[01:02:13] What's your favourite dish?

[01:02:15] The Mongolian lamb is pretty sensational,

[01:02:18] but also we were at Yum Char a few weeks ago

[01:02:21] and had these garlic prawn dumplings

[01:02:25] that were pretty sensational.

[01:02:28] But you can't really go wrong, can you, Sam?

[01:02:30] I mean, what's your go-to dish?

[01:02:32] I partake in both Yum Char

[01:02:33] and thankfully, as of late, more of an evening meal.

[01:02:37] So for Yum Char, I'm pretty open to whatever I like.

[01:02:40] I like Yum Char a lot.

[01:02:42] I'm not a 10 out of 10 Yum Char guy.

[01:02:45] I'm like an 8.5 out of 10 guy.

[01:02:46] So just bring it to me and I'll eat it.

[01:02:48] Love it.

[01:02:48] No worries.

[01:02:49] But as far as the meals go there,

[01:02:51] the dishes, I should say,

[01:02:52] even though it goes against a lot of literally my beliefs,

[01:02:56] well, what my beliefs probably should be,

[01:02:57] the sweet and sour pork is unbelievable.

[01:03:00] Like it is brutally good.

[01:03:03] I'm with you on the lamb.

[01:03:06] Did you say lamb or beef?

[01:03:08] No, the lamb.

[01:03:09] The lamb, yeah.

[01:03:10] We did have a big gathering there a few weeks ago

[01:03:13] for end of school kind of celebrations

[01:03:16] and the duck went around.

[01:03:18] I don't know what sort of duck it was

[01:03:20] and I love animals as much as anyone.

[01:03:24] This duck was unbelievable

[01:03:26] and it's not something you'd have every day

[01:03:28] but the answer to Stacey is it's all very delicious

[01:03:34] and the people there are great who work there

[01:03:36] and it's a fun place to go.

[01:03:39] So if you can get down there,

[01:03:40] if you can afford it,

[01:03:42] not that it's like going to cost you millions of dollars

[01:03:44] but also it's not cheap either.

[01:03:47] It's a great experience

[01:03:48] and now that the sharks, what,

[01:03:50] they co-own it, Cam?

[01:03:51] Is that right?

[01:03:51] Yeah, they've got steak in it as well.

[01:03:53] That was announced a couple of weeks ago, wasn't it?

[01:03:55] So that's good news.

[01:03:56] That's a reason to go there.

[01:03:58] I need to go there and support my team

[01:03:59] and eat Chinese food.

[01:04:00] One bit of advice for Stacey

[01:04:03] and anyone else who's thinking about going down there

[01:04:05] when the season rolls around again,

[01:04:08] I would always recommend that you call them up

[01:04:10] if you're thinking about going down on game day

[01:04:14] or when there's an event there at Shark Park.

[01:04:16] So we ate there at one of the last NRLW games

[01:04:23] and yeah, there was a bit of confusion

[01:04:25] about getting those sort of prime seats next to the field.

[01:04:28] So if that's something that you're thinking about doing,

[01:04:32] don't rely on some of the online booking kind of systems

[01:04:34] to lock that in.

[01:04:35] Give them a call

[01:04:37] and make sure you want to be having a window seat

[01:04:42] for those bigger events

[01:04:43] or at least when there's an event on at Shark Park.

[01:04:46] So I was there as recent as last Thursday

[01:04:48] and happened to...

[01:04:51] Was it last Thursday?

[01:04:52] I was there on A Thursday recently

[01:04:55] and the flag team was training

[01:04:58] and they were training against maybe Howard Mets.

[01:05:01] I don't know.

[01:05:01] It was one of their upcoming big games.

[01:05:03] Actually, I was there for another time

[01:05:05] and it was a rep footy tryout

[01:05:08] and it was two teams with a ref

[01:05:09] and there was a crowd.

[01:05:10] It was a lot of fun.

[01:05:13] But if you just get the luck of the draw,

[01:05:15] you can see the Sharks train,

[01:05:16] you can see NRLW train.

[01:05:17] Like it's a fun place.

[01:05:19] The food's amazing

[01:05:19] but the view is literally Shark Park

[01:05:21] and it's a lot of fun.

[01:05:23] So hopefully they can come on board

[01:05:24] and sponsor the show

[01:05:25] because we definitely give them enough plugs.

[01:05:28] She says,

[01:05:28] On a serious note,

[01:05:30] do you think Fitzgibbon needs to freshen up

[01:05:32] his coaching staff at all

[01:05:34] to go to the next level

[01:05:35] and get more out of the players?

[01:05:36] It's been a good ride

[01:05:37] but I want to go a few steps further.

[01:05:39] Thanks for the pod.

[01:05:41] It's my go-to for all Sharks things content-wise.

[01:05:45] Well, thank you very much.

[01:05:46] Coaching staff.

[01:05:47] So Cam, I think I'm good

[01:05:48] with the coaching staff that we have

[01:05:51] because next level is grand final

[01:05:55] and we kind of almost got there

[01:05:57] with what we have.

[01:05:59] I think we're kind of lucky

[01:06:00] to have the guys that we have.

[01:06:01] I mean, Josh Hannae,

[01:06:04] he's been in the running

[01:06:05] for a bunch of top-line gigs this year.

[01:06:08] Steve Price has sort of been spoken about

[01:06:11] and he's done it in the past.

[01:06:12] And Dan Holdsworth

[01:06:14] has a very strong attachment

[01:06:15] to a lot of the players

[01:06:17] that have come through

[01:06:18] and with the main coach.

[01:06:20] So I'm kind of cool with it.

[01:06:22] How do you feel?

[01:06:22] No, I'm all in on the guys.

[01:06:24] I don't think there's a need

[01:06:26] to change the coaching staff.

[01:06:28] And look, to be honest,

[01:06:29] I guess that the pressure will be on us

[01:06:31] to retain those guys over time

[01:06:34] and as the Sharks' performances

[01:06:36] continue to be as strong as they have been.

[01:06:38] So, you know,

[01:06:40] we're just echoing

[01:06:41] what we've talked about already.

[01:06:42] I mean, there's...

[01:06:44] The squad's strong.

[01:06:45] We're performing well.

[01:06:46] We've done well.

[01:06:48] It's the little things

[01:06:49] that we need to do differently

[01:06:50] and I don't know

[01:06:51] if that's necessarily solved

[01:06:52] by a change of staff

[01:06:53] in the coaching department.

[01:06:55] I'm going to let people

[01:06:56] in on the SharkCast world

[01:06:59] just a little bit

[01:06:59] even though I don't like

[01:07:00] to do that very much

[01:07:01] just because I'm a stupid moron.

[01:07:03] But I sometimes

[01:07:05] am really organized

[01:07:07] and have things written out

[01:07:08] and we know what we're going to say

[01:07:10] is in like segment one,

[01:07:11] segment two,

[01:07:13] here's some stats.

[01:07:14] But sometimes,

[01:07:15] as you can attest, Cam,

[01:07:16] we fly by the seat of our pants

[01:07:17] and this time we're not.

[01:07:19] This time I'm very organized.

[01:07:21] I must have been so organized

[01:07:22] and so in tune

[01:07:24] with the Menendez Brothers documentary

[01:07:27] on the background

[01:07:28] that I didn't realize

[01:07:30] that most of this

[01:07:31] is actually pretty positive.

[01:07:32] So I'm really glad

[01:07:33] that people are seeing

[01:07:35] what you and I kind of see

[01:07:37] with the hope

[01:07:37] that's there for next year.

[01:07:39] So a shout out

[01:07:40] to the best listeners

[01:07:41] in the podcast land.

[01:07:43] Chris says,

[01:07:43] best season yet

[01:07:44] of SharkCast.

[01:07:45] Have enjoyed your guests.

[01:07:46] Monday's show with Kieran

[01:07:47] is a nice weekly edition.

[01:07:49] Congrats on a great season

[01:07:50] podcasting.

[01:07:51] Thank you, Chris,

[01:07:52] very much.

[01:07:53] Much appreciated.

[01:07:54] Maybe I'll get a Netflix

[01:07:55] sponsorship as well, Cam.

[01:07:56] I've mentioned the Menendez Brothers

[01:07:57] like four times now.

[01:07:58] Yeah, how do we

[01:07:59] donate a support letter

[01:08:00] for that as well?

[01:08:01] I probably do.

[01:08:03] Macca says,

[01:08:04] another year done.

[01:08:05] Thank you for everything

[01:08:06] you do to keep us

[01:08:07] entertained and informed.

[01:08:09] I really appreciate it.

[01:08:11] It's one of the

[01:08:11] four or five podcasts

[01:08:13] I listen to every week

[01:08:14] without fail.

[01:08:14] I look forward to

[01:08:15] continuing to do that

[01:08:16] throughout the offseason

[01:08:17] and into next year.

[01:08:19] Thank you, Macca.

[01:08:20] I appreciate that.

[01:08:21] He said,

[01:08:21] this year was a good one.

[01:08:22] My only measure of success

[01:08:24] outside of winning it all

[01:08:25] was that we improve.

[01:08:27] At the start of this year,

[01:08:28] all the questions

[01:08:29] being asked were,

[01:08:31] can they compete

[01:08:32] with top eight sides

[01:08:33] and can they win

[01:08:35] a finals game?

[01:08:36] Both answers were

[01:08:37] resounding yes.

[01:08:38] This is improvement.

[01:08:40] We were 17 minutes

[01:08:41] away from a grand final,

[01:08:43] trailing the most

[01:08:43] successful club

[01:08:44] in 50 years

[01:08:45] by four points.

[01:08:46] Brave performance.

[01:08:48] We went with Melbourne

[01:08:49] for 60 minutes

[01:08:50] in week one

[01:08:50] of the finals,

[01:08:51] then went with Penrith

[01:08:52] for 63.

[01:08:53] Next year,

[01:08:54] we'll get better

[01:08:55] with AFB.

[01:08:56] 2025 could be

[01:08:58] the year

[01:08:58] version 2.0.

[01:09:00] I will see you

[01:09:02] to get it started

[01:09:03] in Vegas, baby.

[01:09:05] We won't back down.

[01:09:07] So Macca's going

[01:09:07] to be in Vegas

[01:09:08] singing a bit of Tom Petty

[01:09:10] and that's very cool.

[01:09:11] I like that.

[01:09:12] I mean,

[01:09:12] it's a good point, Cam.

[01:09:14] We beat top eight sides,

[01:09:16] most of them,

[01:09:17] every time.

[01:09:18] It was like,

[01:09:19] I don't know,

[01:09:19] 80% record

[01:09:21] and we won a finals game

[01:09:22] so it was a good year.

[01:09:24] Obviously,

[01:09:25] we should expect more

[01:09:26] but that was a good start

[01:09:27] for the next couple

[01:09:28] of years.

[01:09:30] Steven says,

[01:09:31] there are no Sharks players

[01:09:31] in the Australian

[01:09:32] extended squad.

[01:09:33] No Sharks players

[01:09:34] in the Prime Minister's

[01:09:35] 13.

[01:09:36] Are we better off

[01:09:36] missing the finals

[01:09:38] to give our players

[01:09:40] a better chance

[01:09:41] for playing rep honors?

[01:09:42] Love the pod.

[01:09:44] Cheers.

[01:09:45] Yeah,

[01:09:46] look,

[01:09:46] I was a little bit

[01:09:48] taken aback

[01:09:48] when I saw some

[01:09:49] of those teams,

[01:09:50] Cam,

[01:09:50] and I was just like,

[01:09:51] what?

[01:09:53] We made it to

[01:09:54] like the prelim

[01:09:56] and you're picking

[01:09:57] all these other

[01:09:58] teams,

[01:09:59] players,

[01:09:59] but not us.

[01:10:00] But having said that,

[01:10:01] there seemed to be

[01:10:02] a whole bunch

[01:10:02] of our players

[01:10:03] that went straight

[01:10:03] into surgery

[01:10:04] and stuff like that

[01:10:05] after we were

[01:10:08] sort of finished

[01:10:08] with the season

[01:10:09] so that might have

[01:10:11] played a part

[01:10:12] of it as well.

[01:10:13] Cam,

[01:10:14] what happens

[01:10:14] if we go

[01:10:15] one step further

[01:10:16] and we're

[01:10:17] premiers right now?

[01:10:19] Who's making

[01:10:20] the team,

[01:10:20] do you think?

[01:10:21] Yeah,

[01:10:21] I mean,

[01:10:21] that's a good

[01:10:22] question as well

[01:10:22] because I guess

[01:10:25] that we're going

[01:10:25] to have

[01:10:26] some of our

[01:10:27] best players

[01:10:28] aren't Australian,

[01:10:29] aren't eligible

[01:10:31] or don't want

[01:10:31] to play

[01:10:32] for the Australian

[01:10:32] team.

[01:10:33] Yes.

[01:10:33] And so

[01:10:35] who are we

[01:10:36] left with

[01:10:37] Nico,

[01:10:38] Tricky,

[01:10:39] Tom will

[01:10:39] have got to

[01:10:41] make the Australian

[01:10:41] team one day.

[01:10:43] But yeah,

[01:10:44] you're right.

[01:10:45] Probably some

[01:10:45] of our best

[01:10:46] players are either

[01:10:47] ineligible

[01:10:48] or don't want

[01:10:49] to play for

[01:10:49] Australia anyway.

[01:10:51] Maybe Jesse Ramion

[01:10:52] would be a sneaky

[01:10:53] or something

[01:10:53] if they,

[01:10:54] I don't know.

[01:10:55] I don't know.

[01:10:56] It's an interesting

[01:10:57] one.

[01:10:57] I personally

[01:10:58] don't really care

[01:10:59] because it doesn't

[01:11:00] affect me or my

[01:11:00] life.

[01:11:01] I'm happy for the

[01:11:02] players to play

[01:11:02] rep footy,

[01:11:03] whether it's

[01:11:03] origin or for

[01:11:05] a country that

[01:11:06] they represent.

[01:11:06] Now,

[01:11:07] where are we

[01:11:08] Cam?

[01:11:10] Wade's got a

[01:11:11] great question

[01:11:13] about our

[01:11:14] heritage jersey

[01:11:16] and Wade was

[01:11:17] a bit let

[01:11:18] down by the

[01:11:19] club by not

[01:11:22] wearing it a

[01:11:22] second time

[01:11:23] during the season

[01:11:23] and he's

[01:11:25] advocating for

[01:11:26] it being our

[01:11:27] 2025 home

[01:11:28] jersey.

[01:11:29] So he's

[01:11:30] asking me to

[01:11:31] write a letter

[01:11:31] of support for

[01:11:32] him to the

[01:11:32] club to lobby

[01:11:33] for our

[01:11:34] standard home

[01:11:35] jersey to be

[01:11:36] the heritage

[01:11:37] style that we

[01:11:38] had this year.

[01:11:39] What do you

[01:11:39] think about that,

[01:11:40] Sam?

[01:11:40] Well,

[01:11:40] I think aside

[01:11:41] from your

[01:11:42] passion for

[01:11:43] guitar pedals

[01:11:44] and things that

[01:11:45] buzz around in

[01:11:45] the middle of

[01:11:46] the night or

[01:11:46] day,

[01:11:47] I think your

[01:11:48] third passion is

[01:11:49] right here,

[01:11:49] jerseys.

[01:11:50] It was a

[01:11:51] good one.

[01:11:52] It was a

[01:11:53] real good

[01:11:53] one.

[01:11:53] Yeah,

[01:11:54] and look,

[01:11:54] to tell you

[01:11:54] the truth,

[01:11:55] there were

[01:11:57] the last

[01:11:58] couple of

[01:11:58] the prelim

[01:11:59] and also

[01:11:59] the grand

[01:11:59] final,

[01:12:00] there were

[01:12:00] lots of

[01:12:01] people in

[01:12:02] sharks jerseys

[01:12:03] at the

[01:12:03] grand final,

[01:12:03] I've got to

[01:12:04] say,

[01:12:04] many more

[01:12:04] than I

[01:12:06] expected

[01:12:06] to see.

[01:12:07] And there

[01:12:08] were a lot

[01:12:08] of the

[01:12:09] heritage

[01:12:10] jerseys as

[01:12:11] well as

[01:12:12] the old

[01:12:13] Reebok

[01:12:13] ones as

[01:12:14] well.

[01:12:14] So that's

[01:12:15] obviously a

[01:12:16] jersey that's

[01:12:16] near and dear

[01:12:17] to the heart

[01:12:17] of many

[01:12:18] people.

[01:12:19] I mean,

[01:12:19] I still

[01:12:21] think that

[01:12:21] the hoops are

[01:12:22] the way to

[01:12:22] go,

[01:12:23] but I

[01:12:23] think playing

[01:12:24] a few more

[01:12:24] games in

[01:12:25] the heritage

[01:12:27] jerseys,

[01:12:28] whatever they

[01:12:28] might be,

[01:12:29] is a good

[01:12:29] way to go,

[01:12:30] and I think

[01:12:30] we should

[01:12:30] use it

[01:12:31] again this

[01:12:31] season.

[01:12:32] Yeah,

[01:12:33] I'm pretty

[01:12:33] much cool

[01:12:34] with anything

[01:12:34] that's old.

[01:12:37] Everyone loves

[01:12:38] that stuff,

[01:12:38] and I

[01:12:39] understand

[01:12:39] there's a

[01:12:40] lot of

[01:12:41] younger

[01:12:42] generations

[01:12:42] in UNICAM

[01:12:43] who are

[01:12:43] into the

[01:12:44] sharks,

[01:12:44] and I get

[01:12:44] that,

[01:12:45] but I love

[01:12:46] the fact that

[01:12:47] people get

[01:12:47] so excited

[01:12:48] by these

[01:12:49] older

[01:12:49] jerseys.

[01:12:50] It doesn't

[01:12:50] have to

[01:12:51] be the

[01:12:53] 1978

[01:12:53] grand final

[01:12:54] one,

[01:12:54] it can

[01:12:54] be anything

[01:12:56] that you

[01:12:57] want to

[01:12:57] particularly

[01:12:57] call retro,

[01:12:58] but the

[01:13:00] club do

[01:13:01] really well

[01:13:02] from these

[01:13:02] jerseys.

[01:13:05] Some of

[01:13:05] the more

[01:13:06] successful

[01:13:06] things they

[01:13:06] sell are

[01:13:07] these retro

[01:13:08] products,

[01:13:09] not just

[01:13:09] jerseys,

[01:13:10] but everything

[01:13:10] else that

[01:13:11] they have

[01:13:11] on there.

[01:13:12] So,

[01:13:12] yeah,

[01:13:13] we'll see

[01:13:13] what happens,

[01:13:14] Wade,

[01:13:14] we'll see

[01:13:14] what we'll run

[01:13:14] out in

[01:13:15] Vegas with.

[01:13:15] That'll be

[01:13:16] kind of wild,

[01:13:17] some sort of

[01:13:17] Vegas-inspired

[01:13:20] retro jersey,

[01:13:21] but we'll

[01:13:22] see what

[01:13:22] happens there.

[01:13:23] Sam,

[01:13:23] have you had

[01:13:23] any word

[01:13:26] whether there'll

[01:13:26] be a special

[01:13:28] Vegas jersey?

[01:13:29] No,

[01:13:30] but there is

[01:13:32] talk of

[01:13:33] some sort

[01:13:34] of merchandise

[01:13:36] that one

[01:13:37] could wear

[01:13:37] to the

[01:13:38] stadium

[01:13:38] and show

[01:13:39] that they're

[01:13:41] Sharks fans

[01:13:42] and also,

[01:13:43] I mean,

[01:13:43] they're obviously

[01:13:44] in Vegas,

[01:13:44] but something,

[01:13:45] you know,

[01:13:45] they've either

[01:13:46] purchased or

[01:13:47] acquired for

[01:13:48] this particular

[01:13:49] event.

[01:13:49] So we'll see

[01:13:49] what happens

[01:13:50] there.

[01:13:50] I think it's

[01:13:50] a watch this

[01:13:51] space.

[01:13:51] So,

[01:13:53] it's coming

[01:13:53] around.

[01:13:54] Sharks gaming

[01:13:54] chip or something.

[01:13:55] Okay.

[01:13:56] Now,

[01:13:57] well,

[01:13:57] the jersey is

[01:13:58] like black,

[01:13:59] white,

[01:13:59] and blue

[01:13:59] with a big

[01:13:59] chip in the

[01:14:00] middle.

[01:14:03] Brendan sent

[01:14:04] in a photo

[01:14:05] of me jumping

[01:14:05] up and down

[01:14:06] at the

[01:14:06] Cowboys game.

[01:14:07] He was only

[01:14:07] the 198th

[01:14:09] person to do

[01:14:10] that.

[01:14:10] And then he

[01:14:11] said,

[01:14:11] this was my

[01:14:12] reaction at

[01:14:13] the Royal

[01:14:13] Motor Yacht

[01:14:14] Club every

[01:14:14] time they

[01:14:15] brought me

[01:14:15] a free

[01:14:16] garlic bread.

[01:14:17] So,

[01:14:18] appreciate that,

[01:14:19] Brendan.

[01:14:19] Those days

[01:14:20] are gone,

[01:14:21] but we still

[01:14:21] encourage you to

[01:14:22] go to that

[01:14:22] place and

[01:14:24] buy their

[01:14:24] garlic bread

[01:14:26] and their

[01:14:26] delicious food

[01:14:26] and drinks.

[01:14:29] Fraser says,

[01:14:30] we're right in

[01:14:30] it until the

[01:14:31] 65th minute.

[01:14:32] Proud of the

[01:14:32] resilience we

[01:14:33] showed.

[01:14:33] Plenty to build

[01:14:34] on for next

[01:14:34] year.

[01:14:36] The drop

[01:14:36] ball and

[01:14:37] not creating

[01:14:38] enough pressure

[01:14:38] killed us.

[01:14:39] Penrith's class

[01:14:40] and big

[01:14:40] experience got

[01:14:41] them over the

[01:14:42] line,

[01:14:42] but I believe

[01:14:43] they'll come

[01:14:43] back to the

[01:14:44] pack next

[01:14:44] year with

[01:14:45] plenty of

[01:14:46] players moving

[01:14:46] on,

[01:14:47] whereas we're

[01:14:47] building and

[01:14:48] heading in

[01:14:49] the opposite

[01:14:49] direction.

[01:14:50] See you in

[01:14:50] Vegas.

[01:14:51] Oh man,

[01:14:51] there's a bit

[01:14:52] of a theme

[01:14:52] happening here.

[01:14:53] All right,

[01:14:54] Fraser,

[01:14:54] we will see

[01:14:55] you in

[01:14:55] Vegas.

[01:14:56] Appreciate

[01:14:56] your support.

[01:14:58] One of the

[01:14:58] great real

[01:14:59] estate agents

[01:14:59] that listens

[01:15:00] to this show,

[01:15:01] Cam.

[01:15:01] We've got a

[01:15:02] whole bunch

[01:15:02] of real

[01:15:02] estate agents

[01:15:03] listening to

[01:15:03] the show.

[01:15:04] Fraser is

[01:15:05] one of

[01:15:05] them.

[01:15:07] Jake says,

[01:15:08] I love the

[01:15:09] re-signing

[01:15:10] of Marwini

[01:15:11] Harati.

[01:15:12] Now,

[01:15:12] Cam,

[01:15:12] he didn't

[01:15:13] play in

[01:15:13] the Super

[01:15:13] Bowl.

[01:15:16] Presumably.

[01:15:17] Yeah,

[01:15:17] I was

[01:15:17] disappointed

[01:15:18] not to see

[01:15:18] him run out.

[01:15:19] I like

[01:15:20] Harati.

[01:15:21] And I

[01:15:22] think he's

[01:15:22] a great

[01:15:23] guy to

[01:15:23] have on

[01:15:23] call when

[01:15:24] we need

[01:15:24] him.

[01:15:25] Now,

[01:15:25] CJ in

[01:15:26] Hobart has

[01:15:27] been in

[01:15:27] touch.

[01:15:27] Thanks for

[01:15:28] all you

[01:15:28] do.

[01:15:29] For the

[01:15:29] Sharks,

[01:15:30] fans,

[01:15:30] all year

[01:15:31] round,

[01:15:31] overall,

[01:15:32] I thought

[01:15:32] it was a

[01:15:32] successful

[01:15:32] season.

[01:15:33] Finished

[01:15:33] top four,

[01:15:34] get to a

[01:15:34] prelim.

[01:15:35] To win

[01:15:36] the finals

[01:15:36] game was

[01:15:37] the best

[01:15:37] part for

[01:15:38] the club

[01:15:38] and the

[01:15:38] fans.

[01:15:39] Disappointed

[01:15:39] to bow

[01:15:40] out,

[01:15:41] but

[01:15:41] thought

[01:15:41] we

[01:15:41] looked

[01:15:41] a bit

[01:15:42] busted

[01:15:42] at not

[01:15:42] having

[01:15:43] Jesse

[01:15:43] out

[01:15:43] there

[01:15:43] hurt

[01:15:44] us.

[01:15:44] I

[01:15:45] thought

[01:15:45] Sione

[01:15:45] was the

[01:15:46] best on

[01:15:47] the night.

[01:15:48] That's a

[01:15:48] good point,

[01:15:49] Cam.

[01:15:49] I thought

[01:15:49] we actually

[01:15:50] looked a bit

[01:15:50] busted in

[01:15:51] that game.

[01:15:51] I agree.

[01:15:53] I guess

[01:15:54] this is

[01:15:54] a bigger

[01:15:57] question as

[01:15:58] well about

[01:16:01] do we

[01:16:02] have to

[01:16:02] think about

[01:16:04] our finals

[01:16:04] campaign at

[01:16:06] the back

[01:16:06] end of

[01:16:07] the season

[01:16:08] to manage

[01:16:09] players a

[01:16:10] little bit

[01:16:10] better?

[01:16:10] I know

[01:16:11] there's a

[01:16:12] lot of

[01:16:12] debate about

[01:16:12] whether

[01:16:13] resting

[01:16:13] players or

[01:16:13] not is

[01:16:14] the way

[01:16:14] to go.

[01:16:15] If we

[01:16:16] finish high

[01:16:17] enough in

[01:16:17] the ladder

[01:16:19] and win

[01:16:19] week one,

[01:16:20] we get a

[01:16:20] week off.

[01:16:21] That eliminates

[01:16:22] some of

[01:16:22] these

[01:16:22] discussions.

[01:16:24] I

[01:16:24] completely

[01:16:25] agree.

[01:16:26] The guys

[01:16:27] look busted

[01:16:29] or

[01:16:29] knocked

[01:16:30] around quite

[01:16:31] a bit.

[01:16:33] I think

[01:16:33] that's

[01:16:33] something to

[01:16:34] think about

[01:16:34] or should

[01:16:35] be a

[01:16:35] motivation

[01:16:36] for going

[01:16:36] into

[01:16:38] next season

[01:16:38] with that

[01:16:39] break that

[01:16:40] you can

[01:16:40] actually get

[01:16:41] by having

[01:16:41] that week

[01:16:43] off.

[01:16:43] He says

[01:16:44] plenty to

[01:16:44] look forward

[01:16:45] to the

[01:16:45] side is

[01:16:46] taking

[01:16:46] steps each

[01:16:47] year.

[01:16:47] Love the

[01:16:47] coach.

[01:16:48] Depped in

[01:16:48] lower

[01:16:48] grades.

[01:16:49] Add a

[01:16:50] dominant

[01:16:50] prop

[01:16:51] AFB in

[01:16:51] the next

[01:16:51] two,

[01:16:52] three years.

[01:16:52] It's

[01:16:52] looking

[01:16:53] massive

[01:16:53] and exciting.

[01:16:54] I look

[01:16:55] forward to

[01:16:55] the pods

[01:16:55] in the

[01:16:56] offseason

[01:16:56] and hopefully

[01:16:57] Vegas here

[01:16:58] I come.

[01:16:59] Thanks CJ

[01:16:59] from Hobart.

[01:17:01] From Hobart

[01:17:02] to Vegas,

[01:17:02] that would be

[01:17:03] quite the

[01:17:03] story.

[01:17:05] Evan says

[01:17:06] tough loss

[01:17:06] as we had

[01:17:08] our chances

[01:17:08] and couldn't

[01:17:09] capitalize

[01:17:10] over the

[01:17:10] offseason.

[01:17:11] I think

[01:17:11] Nico needs

[01:17:12] to go

[01:17:12] look at

[01:17:13] the tapes

[01:17:14] from

[01:17:14] 2022

[01:17:15] to see

[01:17:15] what he

[01:17:16] did so

[01:17:16] well

[01:17:17] as it's

[01:17:17] not

[01:17:18] working

[01:17:18] lately.

[01:17:20] Give

[01:17:20] Trindle

[01:17:20] the

[01:17:21] seven

[01:17:21] and

[01:17:21] free

[01:17:22] up

[01:17:22] Nico.

[01:17:23] Overall

[01:17:24] solid

[01:17:24] season.

[01:17:24] Could be

[01:17:25] back in

[01:17:25] the top

[01:17:25] four.

[01:17:26] Bring

[01:17:26] on the

[01:17:26] content

[01:17:27] over

[01:17:27] summer.

[01:17:28] Up,

[01:17:28] up.

[01:17:28] So just

[01:17:29] on that

[01:17:29] cam,

[01:17:30] give

[01:17:42] the 50-50

[01:17:43] left and

[01:17:44] right thing

[01:17:44] because

[01:17:44] that's

[01:17:45] quite

[01:17:46] contrived

[01:17:46] and easy

[01:17:47] to read.

[01:17:48] I like

[01:17:48] the fact

[01:17:49] they both

[01:17:49] float around

[01:17:49] a little

[01:17:50] bit.

[01:17:50] If you

[01:17:51] want

[01:17:51] Trindle

[01:17:52] to be

[01:17:52] the

[01:17:52] dominant

[01:17:52] one,

[01:17:53] that's

[01:17:53] fine.

[01:17:54] I

[01:18:12] 30-50

[01:18:13] work.

[01:18:13] But I

[01:18:14] agree

[01:18:14] with you.

[01:18:15] I

[01:18:15] think it's

[01:18:15] more of

[01:18:16] a 60-40

[01:18:18] 50-50

[01:18:18] split,

[01:18:19] which is

[01:18:19] really

[01:18:19] what we're

[01:18:19] looking

[01:18:20] for.

[01:18:21] We

[01:18:21] want

[01:18:21] both

[01:18:22] those

[01:18:22] guys,

[01:18:22] whether

[01:18:22] it's

[01:18:22] Nico

[01:18:23] or

[01:18:23] Tricky

[01:18:24] to

[01:18:24] have

[01:18:24] an

[01:18:24] opportunity

[01:18:25] to

[01:18:26] step

[01:18:27] up

[01:18:27] and

[01:18:27] be

[01:18:27] that

[01:18:28] game

[01:18:28] breaker,

[01:18:28] whatever

[01:18:29] the

[01:18:29] circumstances

[01:18:29] are

[01:18:30] when

[01:18:30] need

[01:18:31] be.

[01:18:32] Again,

[01:18:33] I guess

[01:18:33] we'll

[01:18:33] find out

[01:18:34] when they

[01:18:34] run out

[01:18:35] next

[01:18:35] year.

[01:18:36] Stephen

[01:18:36] says,

[01:18:36] up,

[01:18:37] up,

[01:18:37] Cronulla.

[01:18:37] I love

[01:18:37] this

[01:18:38] club

[01:18:38] through

[01:18:38] the

[01:18:38] good

[01:18:38] times

[01:18:39] and

[01:18:39] bad.

[01:18:40] They

[01:18:40] were

[01:18:40] brave

[01:18:40] but

[01:18:41] clearly

[01:18:41] lost

[01:18:41] to

[01:18:41] a

[01:18:42] better

[01:18:42] team.

[01:18:42] Yep,

[01:18:43] I

[01:18:43] think that's

[01:18:44] fair enough.

[01:18:45] Now,

[01:18:45] Cam,

[01:18:46] we've

[01:18:46] gotten

[01:18:46] through

[01:18:46] the

[01:18:47] mail.

[01:18:47] It's

[01:18:47] been

[01:18:47] epic.

[01:18:48] It's

[01:18:48] been

[01:18:48] a lot

[01:18:48] of

[01:18:48] fun.

[01:18:49] I'm

[01:18:49] going

[01:18:49] to

[01:18:49] leave

[01:18:50] the

[01:18:51] last

[01:18:51] piece

[01:18:52] to

[01:18:53] Jake.

[01:18:53] Jake

[01:18:54] has

[01:18:54] written

[01:18:54] in

[01:18:54] what

[01:18:55] I'm

[01:18:55] going

[01:18:55] to

[01:18:55] call

[01:18:56] a

[01:18:56] piece

[01:18:57] of

[01:18:57] art.

[01:18:58] So

[01:18:58] this

[01:18:58] is

[01:18:58] from

[01:18:58] Jake.

[01:18:59] I'm

[01:18:59] going

[01:18:59] to

[01:19:00] do

[01:19:00] the

[01:19:00] best

[01:19:00] I

[01:19:00] can

[01:19:00] with

[01:19:01] this.

[01:19:01] Jake

[01:19:02] says,

[01:19:04] the

[01:19:04] lights,

[01:19:04] the

[01:19:05] moment

[01:19:05] is

[01:19:05] here.

[01:19:06] Sharks

[01:19:06] in

[01:19:06] blue,

[01:19:07] fueled

[01:19:07] by

[01:19:08] passion

[01:19:08] and

[01:19:09] cheer.

[01:19:10] Hines

[01:19:10] drives

[01:19:10] the

[01:19:10] charge,

[01:19:11] bold

[01:19:11] and

[01:19:11] relentless.

[01:19:12] Trindle's

[01:19:13] sharp

[01:19:13] vision

[01:19:14] ignites

[01:19:14] their

[01:19:15] intentions.

[01:19:16] Braley's

[01:19:17] quick hands

[01:19:17] set the

[01:19:18] tempo

[01:19:28] game.

[01:19:29] Pendrous

[01:19:29] legacy

[01:19:30] looms

[01:19:30] the

[01:19:31] best

[01:19:31] in

[01:19:31] the

[01:19:31] fray,

[01:19:32] Cleary

[01:19:32] commands

[01:19:33] and

[01:19:33] Luar's

[01:19:34] wild

[01:19:34] play.

[01:19:35] Edward

[01:19:35] soars

[01:19:36] high,

[01:19:36] Fisher

[01:19:37] Harris

[01:19:37] stands

[01:19:37] tall,

[01:19:37] but

[01:19:38] the

[01:19:38] Sharks

[01:19:38] are

[01:19:38] determined

[01:19:38] they're

[01:19:39] ready

[01:19:39] to

[01:19:39] brawl.

[01:19:40] With

[01:19:41] each

[01:19:41] bone

[01:19:41] crushing

[01:19:41] tackle,

[01:19:42] they'll

[01:19:42] seek

[01:19:43] to

[01:19:43] instill

[01:19:43] a

[01:19:43] wave

[01:19:44] of

[01:19:44] ambition

[01:19:44] attest

[01:19:45] their

[01:19:45] will.

[01:19:46] United

[01:19:46] as

[01:19:47] one,

[01:19:47] they'll

[01:19:47] strike

[01:19:47] with

[01:19:47] precision

[01:19:48] to

[01:19:48] hurt

[01:19:48] the

[01:19:48] Panthers

[01:19:49] fulfill

[01:19:50] their

[01:19:50] vision.

[01:19:51] So

[01:19:51] here's

[01:19:52] to

[01:19:52] the

[01:19:52] Sharks

[01:19:52] let

[01:19:52] the

[01:19:52] battle

[01:19:53] ignite

[01:19:53] with

[01:19:54] hearts

[01:19:54] full

[01:19:54] of

[01:19:54] fire

[01:19:55] they'll

[01:19:55] shine

[01:19:55] through

[01:19:56] the

[01:19:56] night.

[01:19:56] For

[01:19:57] glory

[01:19:57] awaits

[01:19:57] in

[01:19:57] this

[01:19:58] fierce

[01:19:58] storied

[01:19:59] fight.

[01:20:00] It's

[01:20:00] Cronulla's

[01:20:01] moment,

[01:20:01] prepare

[01:20:02] for

[01:20:02] the

[01:20:02] light.

[01:20:03] Now

[01:20:04] obviously

[01:20:04] that was

[01:20:05] written

[01:20:05] pre-game

[01:20:06] and I

[01:20:07] appreciate

[01:20:08] Jake

[01:20:08] sending

[01:20:08] that in,

[01:20:09] that's

[01:20:09] awesome

[01:20:09] and

[01:20:10] you

[01:20:11] know

[01:20:11] we

[01:20:11] probably

[01:20:11] should

[01:20:12] have

[01:20:12] got

[01:20:12] that

[01:20:12] to

[01:20:12] the

[01:20:12] club

[01:20:12] but

[01:20:13] I

[01:20:13] honestly

[01:20:14] didn't

[01:20:14] really

[01:20:15] see

[01:20:15] it

[01:20:22] and

[01:20:22] maybe

[01:20:23] that

[01:20:23] was

[01:20:23] the

[01:20:23] difference

[01:20:24] Cam

[01:20:24] they

[01:20:24] didn't

[01:20:24] hear

[01:20:25] this

[01:20:25] and

[01:20:26] they

[01:20:26] weren't

[01:20:27] completely

[01:20:28] at that

[01:20:28] 100%

[01:20:29] ready

[01:20:29] to go

[01:20:29] moment.

[01:20:30] Yeah

[01:20:31] Jake's

[01:20:31] done a

[01:20:31] great job

[01:20:32] there.

[01:20:32] You

[01:20:32] did a

[01:20:32] great

[01:20:32] reading

[01:20:33] of

[01:20:33] that

[01:20:33] as

[01:20:33] well

[01:20:33] Sam

[01:20:34] I

[01:20:34] must

[01:20:34] say

[01:20:35] but

[01:20:35] you

[01:20:36] can

[01:20:36] imagine

[01:20:37] they

[01:20:37] could

[01:20:37] have

[01:20:37] recruited

[01:20:38] Brennan

[01:20:38] Cowell

[01:20:39] to

[01:20:39] come

[01:20:39] into

[01:20:39] the

[01:20:39] sheds

[01:20:40] to

[01:20:41] read

[01:20:41] that

[01:20:41] for

[01:20:41] them

[01:20:42] at

[01:20:43] the

[01:20:43] start

[01:20:43] of

[01:20:43] the

[01:20:43] game.

[01:20:44] So

[01:20:44] Jake's

[01:20:45] now

[01:20:45] the

[01:20:45] poet

[01:20:46] laureate

[01:20:47] of

[01:20:47] the

[01:20:47] Cronulla

[01:20:48] Sharks

[01:20:48] club.

[01:20:48] I don't

[01:20:49] know

[01:20:49] if

[01:20:49] there's

[01:20:50] much

[01:20:50] other

[01:20:50] competition

[01:20:50] but

[01:20:51] we

[01:20:51] can

[01:20:51] assign

[01:20:52] him

[01:20:52] to

[01:20:52] that.

[01:20:53] It

[01:20:53] may

[01:20:53] not

[01:20:53] be

[01:20:53] a

[01:20:53] paid

[01:20:53] position

[01:20:54] Jake

[01:20:54] I'm

[01:20:54] sorry

[01:20:54] about

[01:20:55] that

[01:20:55] but

[01:20:56] Sam

[01:20:56] will

[01:20:57] organize

[01:20:57] the

[01:20:57] certificate

[01:20:58] to be

[01:20:58] sent

[01:20:58] out

[01:20:58] to

[01:20:58] you.

[01:20:59] Yeah

[01:20:59] I

[01:20:59] mean

[01:21:00] there

[01:21:00] are

[01:21:00] people

[01:21:01] that

[01:21:01] come

[01:21:01] to

[01:21:01] mind

[01:21:02] but

[01:21:02] I

[01:21:02] think

[01:21:02] at

[01:21:02] the

[01:21:02] moment

[01:21:03] Jake's

[01:21:03] leading

[01:21:04] the

[01:21:04] pack

[01:21:04] because

[01:21:05] he's

[01:21:05] got

[01:21:06] the

[01:21:06] guts

[01:21:06] to

[01:21:06] put

[01:21:06] it

[01:21:06] out

[01:21:07] there

[01:21:07] and

[01:21:08] it

[01:21:08] was

[01:21:08] beautifully

[01:21:09] written

[01:21:09] so

[01:21:09] thanks

[01:21:09] very

[01:21:10] much

[01:21:10] Jake

[01:21:10] thanks

[01:21:10] to

[01:21:11] everyone

[01:21:11] who's

[01:21:11] been

[01:21:11] in

[01:21:11] touch

[01:21:11] you

[01:21:12] can

[01:21:12] continue

[01:21:13] to

[01:21:13] write

[01:21:13] through

[01:21:13] throughout

[01:21:14] summer

[01:21:14] we

[01:21:14] will

[01:21:15] get

[01:21:15] to

[01:21:15] the

[01:21:15] mail

[01:21:16] if

[01:21:17] it's

[01:21:17] not

[01:21:17] urgent

[01:21:17] we'll

[01:21:18] get

[01:21:18] to

[01:21:18] it

[01:21:18] in

[01:21:36] heart

[01:21:36] and

[01:21:37] no

[01:21:37] soul

[01:21:37] no

[01:21:37] spine

[01:21:37] you

[01:21:38] know

[01:21:38] the

[01:21:38] ones

[01:21:38] I'm

[01:21:38] talking

[01:21:38] about

[01:21:39] which

[01:21:39] pretty

[01:21:39] much

[01:21:39] all

[01:21:39] of

[01:21:39] them

[01:21:40] I'm

[01:21:40] losing

[01:21:41] it

[01:21:41] in

[01:21:41] our

[01:21:41] can

[01:21:41] but

[01:21:41] just

[01:21:41] get

[01:21:41] on

[01:21:42] there

[01:21:42] and

[01:21:42] sign

[01:21:43] up

[01:21:43] with

[01:21:43] us

[01:21:43] and

[01:21:44] enjoy

[01:21:45] cam

[01:21:46] taking

[01:21:47] photos

[01:21:47] like he

[01:21:48] does

[01:21:48] actually

[01:21:48] cam

[01:21:49] what's

[01:21:49] your

[01:21:50] instagram

[01:21:50] your

[01:21:50] best

[01:21:51] instagram

[01:21:51] let's

[01:21:51] get

[01:21:51] everyone

[01:21:52] to

[01:21:52] follow

[01:21:52] you

[01:21:52] on

[01:21:52] instagram

[01:21:52] at

[01:21:53] wooden

[01:21:53] palace

[01:21:54] okay

[01:21:54] is

[01:21:55] the

[01:21:55] best

[01:21:55] one

[01:21:56] for

[01:21:57] for

[01:21:57] my

[01:21:58] photography

[01:21:58] and

[01:21:59] stuff

[01:21:59] like

[01:21:59] that

[01:21:59] but

[01:21:59] actually

[01:22:00] it's

[01:22:01] good

[01:22:02] that

[01:22:02] you

[01:22:02] flagged

[01:22:03] that

[01:22:03] Sam

[01:22:03] because

[01:22:04] I

[01:22:04] just

[01:22:04] want

[01:22:04] to

[01:22:04] give

[01:22:04] a

[01:22:04] shout

[01:22:04] out

[01:22:05] to

[01:22:05] Gaz

[01:22:05] who

[01:22:05] I

[01:22:06] think

[01:22:06] has

[01:22:07] really

[01:22:08] amassed

[01:22:08] a

[01:22:09] pretty

[01:22:09] phenomenal

[01:22:10] collection

[01:22:11] of

[01:22:11] photos

[01:22:11] through

[01:22:12] the

[01:22:12] year

[01:22:12] and

[01:22:13] I've

[01:22:14] been

[01:22:14] at

[01:22:14] him

[01:22:14] about

[01:22:15] having

[01:22:15] an

[01:22:16] exhibition

[01:22:16] of

[01:22:16] some

[01:22:16] of

[01:22:16] his

[01:22:16] photography

[01:22:17] because

[01:22:17] I

[01:22:18] think

[01:22:18] it's

[01:22:18] really

[01:22:19] outstanding

[01:22:20] and so

[01:22:20] to the

[01:22:21] best

[01:22:21] in the

[01:22:22] business

[01:22:22] congratulations

[01:22:22] Gaz

[01:22:23] a great

[01:22:23] year

[01:22:24] and

[01:22:24] yeah

[01:22:25] let's

[01:22:26] amongst

[01:22:27] all of

[01:22:27] the

[01:22:27] other

[01:22:27] things

[01:22:28] we're

[01:22:28] lobbyists

[01:22:29] for

[01:22:29] now

[01:22:29] Sam

[01:22:29] let's

[01:22:30] lobby

[01:22:30] for

[01:22:30] an

[01:22:31] exhibition

[01:22:32] somewhere

[01:22:33] somehow

[01:22:33] of

[01:22:34] Gaz's

[01:22:34] photography

[01:22:35] maybe

[01:22:35] we could

[01:22:36] do it

[01:22:36] at a

[01:22:36] Christmas

[01:22:36] party

[01:22:37] as in

[01:22:37] our

[01:22:38] Christmas

[01:22:38] party

[01:22:38] not the

[01:22:39] sharks

[01:22:39] of

[01:22:39] Christmas

[01:22:39] party

[01:22:40] but our

[01:22:40] Christmas

[01:22:40] party

[01:22:41] sounds

[01:22:41] like a

[01:22:41] great

[01:22:42] idea

[01:22:42] I've

[01:22:43] said

[01:22:43] this

[01:22:43] before

[01:22:43] on

[01:22:43] the

[01:22:43] show

[01:22:44] but

[01:22:44] he's

[01:22:45] the

[01:22:45] funniest

[01:22:45] dude

[01:22:45] because

[01:22:46] you'll

[01:22:46] say

[01:22:47] to him

[01:22:47] man

[01:22:47] that's

[01:22:48] a

[01:22:48] great

[01:22:48] photo

[01:22:48] or

[01:22:49] I'm

[01:22:49] next

[01:22:49] to

[01:22:49] him

[01:22:49] and

[01:22:49] he's

[01:22:49] got

[01:22:49] his

[01:22:50] camera

[01:22:50] I'm

[01:22:50] like

[01:22:50] you

[01:23:15] very

[01:23:15] humble

[01:23:15] man

[01:23:15] very

[01:23:17] humble

[01:23:18] Cam

[01:23:18] thank you

[01:23:19] for your

[01:23:19] time

[01:23:19] before we

[01:23:20] let you

[01:23:20] go

[01:23:21] are you

[01:23:21] listening

[01:23:21] to

[01:23:21] anything

[01:23:22] we should

[01:23:22] be

[01:23:22] listening

[01:23:22] to

[01:23:23] are you

[01:23:23] lining

[01:23:23] up

[01:23:23] for

[01:23:23] Oasis

[01:23:24] tickets

[01:23:24] what are

[01:23:24] you

[01:23:45] I think

[01:23:45] it's

[01:23:46] early

[01:23:46] November

[01:23:46] in

[01:23:47] Sydney

[01:23:47] so

[01:23:48] one

[01:23:48] of

[01:23:48] the

[01:23:48] best

[01:23:49] Sydney

[01:23:49] bands

[01:23:50] of

[01:23:50] all

[01:23:50] time

[01:23:50] that

[01:23:50] I

[01:23:50] know

[01:23:50] that

[01:23:51] you've

[01:23:51] got

[01:23:51] a

[01:23:52] great

[01:23:52] connection

[01:23:52] with

[01:23:53] for

[01:23:53] a

[01:23:53] very

[01:23:53] long

[01:23:53] time

[01:23:53] but

[01:23:53] that's

[01:23:54] one

[01:23:54] of

[01:23:54] my

[01:23:54] all-time

[01:23:54] favorite

[01:23:55] Australian

[01:23:56] albums

[01:23:56] and

[01:23:57] so

[01:23:57] if

[01:23:59] nobody's

[01:23:59] heard it

[01:23:59] they should

[01:24:00] be

[01:24:01] trying

[01:24:01] to hunt

[01:24:02] that

[01:24:02] down

[01:24:02] we

[01:24:02] might

[01:24:03] as well

[01:24:03] go

[01:24:03] there

[01:24:03] it's

[01:24:03] their

[01:24:03] best

[01:24:04] album

[01:24:04] I

[01:24:05] think

[01:24:05] it

[01:24:15] is

[01:24:15] their

[01:24:16] full-length

[01:24:16] album

[01:24:16] which

[01:24:17] I

[01:24:17] really

[01:24:17] love

[01:24:18] that

[01:24:18] as

[01:24:18] well

[01:24:18] but

[01:24:18] those

[01:24:18] two

[01:24:19] albums

[01:24:19] Fear of

[01:24:19] Girls

[01:24:20] and

[01:24:20] Higher

[01:24:20] Up

[01:24:20] the

[01:24:20] Fire

[01:24:20] Trails

[01:24:35] are

[01:24:45] around

[01:24:45] Deep Valley

[01:24:46] Seaworthy

[01:24:47] 12k

[01:24:47] a record

[01:24:48] made

[01:24:48] with

[01:24:48] my

[01:24:49] friend

[01:24:49] Matt

[01:24:49] Rosner

[01:24:49] that's

[01:24:50] a field

[01:24:50] recordings

[01:24:51] and

[01:24:51] ambient

[01:24:51] guitar

[01:24:52] so

[01:24:52] if

[01:24:52] you're

[01:24:52] looking

[01:24:52] for

[01:24:53] something

[01:24:54] to

[01:24:54] relax

[01:24:54] to

[01:24:54] in

[01:24:54] the

[01:24:55] off

[01:24:55] season

[01:24:55] that's

[01:24:55] the

[01:25:15] dude

[01:25:15] appreciate

[01:25:15] you

[01:25:16] jumping

[01:25:16] on

[01:25:16] have

[01:25:17] a

[01:25:17] great

[01:25:17] couple

[01:25:18] weeks

[01:25:18] I'm

[01:25:18] sure

[01:25:18] we'll

[01:25:18] talk

[01:25:19] to

[01:25:19] you

[01:25:19] soon

[01:25:19] on

[01:25:19] the

[01:25:19] show

[01:25:19] we've

[01:25:19] got

[01:25:20] a

[01:25:44] bunch

[01:25:45] in

[01:25:45] the

[01:25:45] Karimbar

[01:25:45] region

[01:25:46] and

[01:25:46] has

[01:25:46] his

[01:25:46] eye

[01:25:47] all

[01:25:47] across

[01:25:47] the

[01:25:47] shire

[01:25:48] lifelong

[01:25:49] Sharks

[01:25:49] fan

[01:25:49] and

[01:25:50] supporter

[01:25:50] of

[01:25:50] this

[01:25:50] podcast

[01:25:51] if

[01:25:51] you're

[01:25:51] looking

[01:25:51] to

[01:25:52] buy

[01:25:52] or

[01:25:52] sell

[01:25:52] in

[01:25:52] the

[01:26:28] turn

[01:26:28] your

[01:26:28] porch

[01:26:28] lights

[01:26:29] off

[01:26:29] because

[01:26:29] we're

[01:26:29] coming

[01:26:30] home

[01:26:30] with

[01:26:30] a

[01:26:30] trophy
