[00:00:00] Hey there, welcome to SharkCast Podcast, a podcast dedicated to the great

[00:00:33] sporting club and the history of the world. And when I say history of the world, I mean

[00:00:40] history of the world. My name is Sam Shiazzi, OG from 2015. The show is brought to you by

[00:00:46] Dyson Logistics, the Royal Mediapub Import Hacking, and Jason Hawes at Crips and Crips

[00:00:51] Real Estate. A few things to say before we start talking about the game. The audio

[00:00:56] is not going to be great. I'm in a vehicle. It's raining. I apologize. This is going

[00:01:00] to be short and sharp. As most of the others know, I've been unwell, still unwell. To be

[00:01:06] honest, it hurts to talk, but I have to talk after that performance. That was unbelievable.

[00:01:12] From the coaching performance of naming that team to the 17 guys that played, the people

[00:01:19] that traveled down for the game, just a remarkable performance. We know that Nico

[00:01:24] Heinz was missing, unfortunately due to a calf injury. It's minor. It'll be one to two weeks.

[00:01:31] Hopefully not missing next week, but it's a wait and see on that one. But what a phenomenal

[00:01:38] victory. Everyone's talking about Dan Atkinson and they should be as the rain gets heavier.

[00:01:43] The storm is angry. It's getting heavier. Dan Atkinson with just a remarkable performance

[00:01:50] in what was his third or fourth NRO game. We should be talking about that and we will,

[00:01:58] but what comes to mind is just an all-around scene performance. For some reason, I'm thinking

[00:02:05] Jack Leeds just had one of the great games because he was everywhere for a long time.

[00:02:11] Ken McInnes, Blake Braley, all of them. They were fantastic. Ranallo Militolo changing

[00:02:18] the game after the Dan Atkinson field goal to put Ziffer away. They defended their butts off.

[00:02:24] A couple of poor reads for both tries. They can work on that. Kicking game was great

[00:02:31] considering Nico wasn't there. The biggest thing is we won that game with our starting halves.

[00:02:37] Both starting halves out and we win in Melbourne. We've only won two times at

[00:02:45] that stadium now three. Just sensational. I know a lot of people are concerned about the

[00:02:50] Marrakech but we can't win against the big team. Not that they believed it. Some of them

[00:02:55] did, but this one puts that one to bed for now. The media will come up with a reason to

[00:03:03] find something else. That's what the media does, but you can be rest assured you've got a real

[00:03:08] deal team right here. Both teams missing stars, it has to be said, but the conviction which

[00:03:17] the Sharks played with, the game plan, the coaching performance from all the staff

[00:03:24] led by Coach Fitzgibbon. Absolute ballsy move to name that team. He named Jack Williams at

[00:03:30] half. We know Ken McInnes ended up playing there in attack. Blake Braley played there in

[00:03:36] defence. Really great strategic move. Cade Dyches was in Melbourne and he was eligible to play.

[00:03:43] He was in the 19, the play. There's a lot of hysteria out there about he should have been

[00:03:48] picked. They would have picked him if he was ready. He's not ready post-surgery and post-injury.

[00:03:55] He's working his way back through cup as a half. He's not ready to play the RO right now.

[00:04:01] He will be, but he's not. This was an amazing coaching decision and one that absolutely

[00:04:08] worked. I'm not going to be able to talk too much longer, but I just wanted to just

[00:04:14] emote and say what a fantastic win. A grinding, courageous, strong win. The better team won

[00:04:24] and I love the way they're playing. It is next man up. Hopefully we don't have to do

[00:04:29] that for too much longer. Hopefully Nico's back next week to the Roosters Magic Round clash. If

[00:04:36] he's not, I wouldn't rush it to be honest. I wouldn't rush it. We got Penderith after that

[00:04:40] and a long season to go. Just a very impressive win. Stating the obvious, I know.

[00:04:46] I'm on medication. Give me a break. I congrats to all of our Melbourne fans,

[00:04:52] when I say that, Melbourne supporters, when I say that, people living in Melbourne who

[00:04:57] follow this team as much as we all do in the shy out and I see them once a year if they're lucky

[00:05:03] and there's not many times they've seen them win. Tonight is going to be so special for those

[00:05:08] guys and girls and we absolutely send them our best. They've been doing it tough this year,

[00:05:14] some really heavy personal losses as recent as last week and this will really, I think, chew

[00:05:20] them up at least for the immediate moment. Also sending a shout out, not their name,

[00:05:27] who I'm talking about, the person and people, no if I'm referring to but a good friend of the

[00:05:33] show and his daughter who we love had a loss this week and I hope that the win tonight really

[00:05:42] chewed them up and it's just so great to see a shark's team out there really fighting for

[00:05:48] everything. I think even if they lost tonight in the way that they played, you wouldn't be

[00:05:54] overly disappointed. I wouldn't be personally. The fact they won is just the icing on the cake.

[00:06:01] It's important for end of year closer to the top four. We want to finish in the top two

[00:06:09] and they're doing everything they can to do that. It's the best start since 1999 when we

[00:06:13] won the minor premiership. I can't talk anymore. Up Up Cranulla, I hope we can talk next week. If

[00:06:20] we can't, I don't know, we'll work something out. Enjoy your night everyone. Up Up Cranulla.

[00:06:54] Go out and play without fear. Now's the time to see good football. For the sharks are here.

[00:07:53] Sharks for
