[00:00:19] And gentlemen, by the way Gary you have to speak loud so the mic can hear you. Sharks win. A thriller. Oh my god. Defeating the Newcastle Knights in Golden Point. Gary I thought we'd kind of buggered it but the good guys got home.

[00:00:51] We did get home. It was a good finish. It was exciting there at the end. I thought Sione might have scored but yeah.

[00:00:56] Oh what about that? Good run there but he set us up perfectly and obviously Acker finished it off for us which was the icing on the cake. Sharks win 19-18. Absolutely brilliant stuff. Highly emotional game for those who are in attendance. I'm sure also watching on the TV. I mean it wasn't the greatest game by the Sharks. I thought they started really well. They took the foot off. Knights had the majority of the I reckon good runs and possession straight down our middle the entire rest of the game.

[00:01:25] Somehow we got it back and in Golden Point there were two disallowed field goals to eat. One for each team. Unbelievable stuff. But thankfully the good guys won. One of the memorable games that's for sure down at Shark Park. Gary let's go back to the start. Which feels like hours and hours and hours ago. Forever ago. Forever ago. Forever ago.

[00:01:55] We were playing well. We were playing well. We were probably going to run away with it in this first half. But then the Knights just hit back and went toe for toe. And then obviously they clawed their way back. And it just got a bit away from us there at half time. But we came back in the second half and just wrestled our way through it. Got to a point where we were even. And finished it off in Golden Point. But yeah. That start was awesome. But we just got to maintain that start. That was probably the one thing there that I'd say we need to fix up.

[00:02:21] It felt like we forgot how to play like we did against the Titans. Titans was a perfect game. I thought I will just do that in the opening 10 minutes. That's how we played. We were up 10 nil. Things are going great. And they sort of arm wrestled their way back into it. Man we had a lot of errors. Penalties. Six against.

[00:02:39] Knocking. And on the back of that. They got their tries. And they weren't amazing. But they did what they had to do. Why do you think we went away from that?

[00:02:49] I have no idea. Was it something you didn't have too many middles or?

[00:02:53] Yeah. I don't know. Like obviously there was a bit of like a change in the team throughout the week. Like people were sick. People were just falling off the cliff.

[00:02:59] So there was a few positional changes. Guys playing out of position and not in positions that they'd been training. And all these different bits and pieces. Which probably contributed to a little bit of the stop start errors. All that sort of stuff.

[00:03:12] But at the end of the day like if you're in the 17 you've got to be able to play sort of anywhere if you need it. And I thought some boys did well out of position. Obviously Sipper again in the centres.

[00:03:21] Like he's bumping people off left, right and centre. He's had another good game there. And yeah our middles were just. I don't know. Like a bit hot and cold. A bit hot and cold. But I mean at the end of the day two points is two points. But there's a few little things there we can fix up.

[00:03:34] And you know when you look back at the Titans game that was such a good game plan. And we perfected it. Like absolutely rolled through them. The Knights we probably thought we could do the same thing. And we just couldn't. They've got a lot of strike power.

[00:03:45] And you know they get guys like Gagai one on one with people. And he's hard to stop. And Kalen Pong is electric. So you've got to shut him down. And we didn't in that middle period of the game. But after that you know we sort of shorted up. And yeah we made the most of it at the end there. And got back to where we needed to be.

[00:04:00] It was a weird game with. I mean there was a sin being right on half time. Which I think ultimately helped us.

[00:04:08] We saw Akko go for the goal. Hits the post. It's game on. We didn't get the try. Right on the bell of half time.

[00:04:19] So they played all their cards really well. Like the Knights as we said during the week. They're not the most amazing team. But they do what they do well. They simplify everything.
