[00:01:24] The NRL draw is being released on Thursday, I think it's 11am. We'll be back shortly after that to dissect what's going on for our mighty Sharkies.

[00:01:34] We know we're starting in Las Vegas. There's a few other games that have crept up.

[00:01:39] Probably not allowed to say what they are at the moment. I'm not sure it's been released or not, but I've been privy to a few details.

[00:01:45] And there's some cool clashes in some cool locations and more about that on Thursday.

[00:01:51] It'll be out for everyone to see.

[00:01:53] And Toby Rudolph has been declared unfit for the opening four rounds, we think, of the 2025 season.

[00:02:03] So, out of Vegas and the next two to three games at the very least.

[00:02:08] Injured his shoulder.

[00:02:10] Noticed that he had a problem a few days after the Penrith prelim.

[00:02:14] And then went to Bali, end of year trip with a lot of the club players and reps and coaches, etc.

[00:02:27] And was surfing up a storm and noticed the shoulder wasn't getting much better.

[00:02:32] And I think there was a bit of a fall off the board into the water.

[00:02:36] Crash, boom, wallop, boom, crash, opera.

[00:02:38] And he's got a shoulder problem.

[00:02:41] So, he was interviewed during the week with Danny Wadler.

[00:02:45] And he's been doing sessions with Roger Fabree.

[00:02:49] And there's a whole lot of stuff going on with Toby.

[00:02:51] But he has declared that he won't be ready for the opening four rounds.

[00:02:56] And I was just wondering what you guys and girls thought would happen to our forward pack given he won't be there.

[00:03:03] And I was trying to think of a few different scenarios.

[00:03:07] And for me, it's a pretty simple option at the moment.

[00:03:09] Like depending on preseason form and depending on injuries and if we buy anyone else, who knows what's going to happen there.

[00:03:17] But Adam Fenua Blake will be the starter.

[00:03:19] All being well.

[00:03:20] Oregon Confuci would probably be the other starter.

[00:03:23] I think that Braden Hamlouilly comes into contention.

[00:03:28] But I think given the year that Oregon had, I think he's perfectly great to start as our starting prop.

[00:03:36] We know who our second rowers will be.

[00:03:38] We're pretty sure Cam McInnes will be our lock as well.

[00:03:41] So, that leaves the bench.

[00:03:43] Now, so for me, Toby was going to be on the bench anyway.

[00:03:46] He was not going to be starting over Oregon.

[00:03:49] And Adam Fenua Blake.

[00:03:52] But he was going to be on my bench.

[00:03:53] So, that's a bit of a pickle for the opening three to four weeks at the very least.

[00:03:57] Now, we have Jesse Colhoun out till mid-season next year.

[00:04:01] So, I think the option will be, the option will be Sif Atalikai on the bench.

[00:04:06] Tall Tom Hazleton.

[00:04:08] Braden Hamlouilly touched wood being fit and ready to go.

[00:04:11] And I feel like big Tuku Haitapua steps in as the fourth forward.

[00:04:17] If you're going with four forwards, you might say, no, no, no, Shanaez.

[00:04:21] We're going to have Dan Atkinson on the bench.

[00:04:24] So, in that case, is your bench going to be Atkinson, Sifah, BHU, and Tall Tom Hazleton?

[00:04:33] And, therefore, Tuku Haitapua missing out.

[00:04:37] They're the two scenarios we're going with.

[00:05:04] But having said that, there's moral issues with being on X at the moment.

[00:05:09] But then if you really get into it, there's moral issues being on Facebook.

[00:05:12] And, yeah, this is the world we're living in.

[00:05:15] It's such a tough world we're living in.

[00:05:17] But I'm excited about the Sharks 2025 season NRL draw coming out on Thursday.

[00:05:22] I'm excited.

[00:05:23] We're already talking about the lineup for round one.

[00:05:27] And we're playing Penrith.

[00:05:29] Now, some of their stars are rumored not to be playing.

[00:05:32] Now, knowing them and knowing us, they'll be fit and far ready to go.

[00:05:36] But I believe Nathan Cleary and also Dylan Edwards are in doubt.

[00:05:43] There might be a third guy as well.

[00:05:45] So keep your eye on that in the coming months.

[00:05:48] But regardless, playing Penrith is always tough.

[00:05:50] And I'd rather play without those guys than with.

[00:05:53] I'd get the W in Vegas and get out of there.

[00:05:58] Healthy as we can all be, both players and fans.

[00:06:02] And rock on into round two, which will be two weeks later.

[00:06:07] Given that round one is split over two weeks.

[00:06:10] It's all getting real confusing.

[00:06:11] The draw will be here in about 48 hours or less then.

[00:06:15] And we can dissect that.

[00:06:17] We will dissect that as we normally do.

[00:06:19] We're trying to get a little bit of help from various sources and maybe some other people around.

[00:06:23] I should say we've got some more episodes coming up in the coming weeks.

[00:06:27] Plenty more content coming.

[00:06:29] Working on some guests as well, which is difficult in the sense of just scheduling and everyone's living such busy lives.

[00:06:38] It's hard to sort of pin people down and then make it fit with other people's schedules.

[00:06:43] But we're doing our best there and we'll definitely have more guests coming up in spring and summer.

[00:06:48] Definitely more episodes coming up.

[00:06:52] And yeah, really appreciate you guys and girls being in with us for another 11th season coming in.

[00:06:57] It's going to be a bumper one.

[00:06:59] I'm really excited about the Sharks season.

[00:07:01] Hopes are high.

[00:07:02] I think the window is very much open.

[00:07:04] So if we can get through it without too many dramas, then we might be a chance of doing something special.

[00:07:11] Toby out for the first four weeks.

[00:07:13] It's a bit of a hiccup.

[00:07:14] It's a bit of a pickle.

[00:07:17] He's for me personally, not going to be in the starting pack necessarily when they're all fit and healthy,

[00:07:24] but he is someone who we have come to rely on and someone who's going to be important part of the pack for 2025.

[00:07:31] So it's a bummer that he's out.

[00:07:33] At least it's four weeks.

[00:07:34] Get over and done with.

[00:07:36] Back healthy as he can be.

[00:07:38] And we move on.

[00:07:39] So not much more signing news happening.

[00:07:43] There are rumors around about different players here or there.

[00:07:47] I think we can put the Papenhausen one to bed as I talked about in the previous episode.

[00:07:52] And I think possibly Dan Atkinson might be the next one to sign on, but we'll see how that goes.

[00:08:00] Checkbook Flanagan will be coming in with one last offer, I'm sure, with one extra zero.

[00:08:05] And how many times can you say no to the checkbook coach?

[00:08:09] So I think you'll stay.

[00:08:11] I think Dan Atkinson will be a shark for at least two or three more years, but we'll see what happens there.
